The introduction of IT and the change in the organizational structure might take some time to get accepted at the workplace. There is a potential barrier for the adoption of Clinical Pathways due to resistance of senior physicians to flexibly adopt the changes and make them believe in the benefits of implementing Clinical Pathways.
