In the beginning Du starts the work in their main center in Dubai, and it start in February 2007 by blessing of his Hines sheikh/ Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum And his Hines sheikh/ Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The main two important person on their team are Ahmed Bin Byat and he is the chair man of the company, and Osman Sultan, he is the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

They are focus on offering mobile and fixed voice calling, Internet, data services and television for the customer. Du used many ways to promote about their company, they used the radios to advertise about their services. As the same of the other companies, If Du has a strength they will also have Weaknesses, and some of the weaknesses are: the signal of Du SIM card, internet and services in some places it is not strong and it is weak because they have poor signal columns and it is very far from the regions. Du is an new born company, so that they will need to have more years to be best and they should improve their steps. Etisalat is the first strong competitor for Du, and of course it have best signal for their services because they started from long time ago, so they have good experiences in telecom services.

The global financial situation effect on decreasing Du shares, so the company reduce the number of their employees and their products, that what lead to reduce their profit.
