Check the publisher’s 22nd-edition Quick Style Guide for basic citation forms. The UC Davis guide to online and electronic sources explains the newer video, podcast and AI rules. AI responses use the exact prompt and the location of the saved PDF; their format differs from a citation to the AI tool’s homepage.

A short case citation depends on the surrounding text. This tool supplies one when you enter a short name and pinpoint; it does not automatically choose id. or supra without that context.
