Besides, the Ministry of Tourism will take the lead in developing the industry, while Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Tourism Centre and Virtual Malaysia will work together to promote the diversification of the country’s tourism products and services regardless in local or abroad. As tourism industry has become one of the sources of Malaysia’s economic, therefore increase in tourism activities had generates multiplier effects in other sectors of the economy such as the hotel industry, retail businesses, restaurants and transportation.
