As technology increases, the question that is at the forefront of policies is how Canada can ensure a sufficient level of human capital to meet the demand from a loss of low skilled jobs to trade and automation. Finally, a renewed employment policy must make it possible to adjust the available workforce to the emerging technical characteristics, to the requirements of economic development and international competition.
