The hidden secret of nature’s measure created by Allah (S.W.T) can be seen through a sequence of numbers discovered by the Italian mathematician Fibonacci.

This sequence of numbers has a distinctive characteristic, which is that each one number consists of the sum of the two numbers before it.

The sequence begins with 0 and 1, followed by the sum of the first two numbers. So;

0 + 1 = 1

1 + 1 = 2

2 + 1 = 3

3 + 2 = 5

5 + 8 = 13

Therefore, getting the Fibonacci sequence:

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584 …

An interesting property of Fibonacci numbers is that when you divide one number in the sequence by the number before it, the ratio obtained is very close to one another , however , this ratio is then permanent after the 13th number in the series. And it is this very ratio, which is called “THE GOLDEN RATIO” or ”THE PHI (φ) CONSTANT ”

GOLDEN RATIO = 1.618

233 / 144 = 1.618

377 / 233 = 1.618

610 / 377 = 1.618

987 / 610 = 1.618

“Soon we will show them Our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth) and in their own soul, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth…”

It Makes no difference, we still have inner emotions and physical wishes, living with one another, interacting, and forming our own systems of living in all aspects of life (i.e. economical, social , political , and financial )

However, Ignorance and poverty are men worst enemies and men let ignorance dwell into their lives slowly corrupting their minds.

Therefore, an absolute need of Guidance from our creator is of great importance in order to live a peaceful happy life.

Allah (S.W.T) says in the Holy Quran:

We have indeed created man in the best of moulds… (Surat Al Alaq, 4)

Although humans are favoured amongst his creation being the best with a sane mind, man are so lost in worldly desires leading to blindness of their eyes and causing a barrier between them and their Creator .

BUT; Most Gracious, Most Merciful (Surat Al Fatiha, 3)

Therefore , in spite of mans ignorance , Allah (S.W.T) is all Gracious and Merciful , and so he provides signs, so that mankind can open their eyes and explore their creator through his creation.

Going back to the Golden ratio hidden in Allah’s (S.W.T) wonderful creation .The creator has always used this very superior unique design number of mathematics in numerous events in the universe.

Mecca is the holiest meeting site for all Muslims around the world. This is because it is in this very place where the House of Allah (S.W.T) is placed. Muslims gather up every year on the Islamic month of Zill Hajj to perform their Islamic Hajj pilgrimage.

The ratio of eastern distance to the western distance of Mecca’s solstice line is again 1.618. According to all mapping systems (using the golden ratio compass called Leonardo compass) the Golden Ratio point of the Earth is always within the borders of Mecca proving that Mecca is located on the Golden ratio point of Arabia, AND, the Holy Kaaba is located on the Golden ratio of Mecca.

Further evidence about Mecca (Bakka) being the Golden ratio point of the Earth has being shown from the Holy Quran itself in the following verse;

This verse has a total of 47 letters. The word Bakka (Mecca) appears after exactly 29 letters from the beginning of this verse. Thus, dividing 47 / 29 = 1.618 (with approximation).

Using the same phenomena, we can apply the golden ratio in our calculation, taking 47 /1.618 = 29 (the number of letters from the beginning to the verse to the word Bakka)

Isn’t this one of the clues that can direct man to the right path which was ordered by his creator? …

THE HUMAN BODY

The human body is the entire structure of a human organism, and consists of a head, neck, torso, two arms and two legs. [4] [Wikipedia Definitions]

The human body is so complex yet created by its creator (Allah S.W.T) with utmost perfection.

Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. (Surat Al Qamar:49 )

The DNA’s each cycle measures 34 angstroms long by 21 angstroms wide. This measurement brings us back to the Fibonacci numbers: 21 and 34 and its ratio 34/21 is 1.6190476, which is close to the phi, 1.6180339.

Allah’s (S.W.T) flawless creation of this Universe from the microscopic atom to massive galaxies, all has being created with a measure. Plants too display this measure in a very exceptional manner by illustrating the Fibonacci series in the numbers and arrangements of petals, leaves.

Plants that are fashioned in spirals, such as pinecones, pineapples and sunflowers, demonstrate Fibonacci numbers. Many plants produce new branches in pattern and quantity that are based on Fibonacci numbers.

This golden ratio has being scientifically investigated in the shells of Mollusks, a group of aquatic creatures, which live at the bottom of the sea.

The mollusks body is hidden inside shell, which is of 2 surfaces, the internal and the external surfaces. The internal surface is smooth this is because the body of the mollusk is inside and the external surface is fluted so as to increase its strength. The spiral structure of the shells gives a sharpened design with just right logarithmic method.

Sir D’Arcy Thompson, a biologist, described this kind of growth as ‘gnomic growth’. He pointed out that, the growth of the seashell was based on widening and extension in line with equal and unchanging magnitude and that the shell continuously grows but the shape remains the same.

Doesn’t all this miraculous signs and evidence prove to us that truly, everything created by the Almighty is done very accurately with a measure?

To sum up, everything created by Allah (S.W.T) is done with perfect measure. If this measure was either a unit less or a unit more, this universe would not be as perfect as it is.

Only Allah (S.W.T) knows the secret behind his creation which is beyond human beings knowledge however, Allah (S.W.T) has left us signs and clues in the Holy Quran so that we may be able to recognize Allah’s (S.W.T) power, follow his laws, appreciate his bounties, feel his presence and realize the reason behind our existence in this world.

And never an Ayah (sign) comes to them from the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, but that they have been turning away from it (Surat An’am:6)

In spite of all the signs, there are men who reject faith, and believe that nature came by coincidence. According to scientists, all these proofs and little tiny details in Allah’s (S.W.T) creation have a probability of ‘zero coincidence ‘therefore there must be an authority far more knowledgeable to design this universe which is non other then Allah (S.W.T)

It is He Who sendeth down rain from the skies: with it We produce vegetation of all kinds: from some We produce green (crops), out of which We produce grain, heaped up (at harvest); out of the date-palm and its sheaths (or spathes) (come) clusters of dates hanging low and near: and (then there are) gardens of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety): when they begin to bear fruit, feast your eyes with the fruit and the ripeness thereof. Behold! in these things there are signs for people who believe.
