This paper discusses about impact of the Western culture on the non Western culture like Africa. It also describes about loss of centeredness in the mid of nineteenth and twentieth century and details the concept loss of centeredness to the cultural groups. This paper provides the early conditions of the Western Culture on African culture and also examines the changes of the African culture due to expansion of the European culture. It also details how this change represented as loss of centeredness. This paper concludes with this concept by providing the specific examples and details in regarding the impact of western culture on African culture.
Impact of Western Culture
The loss of centeredness of the culture has meant something for the non Western culture and the loss of centeredness have noted by Sayre in the mid of 19th and 20th century. The loss of centeredness was an issue that provided the earlier conditions of the cultural events. In non western culture, that time the tribes were colonized and hence the olden culture was very critical.

The earlier culture people were not having any basic requirements such as money, power, weapons, knowledge and the centered identification. The Non -western culture had affected by the negative factors such as environmental factors, military and the lack of economics. Hence they were suffered for working in their places. This lack of economics in the mid of 19th and 20th century was the major negative effect for them and this loss suffered very much to their culture. The olden non western culture was not having any political, economical, and the social factors for their solution. Hence they were affected negatively by this lack of requirements. The Africa is one of the non western countries that were also affected by this lack of basic requirements. After the 20th century, the impact of the European culture has modified the non Western culture such as Africa, native America, The contribution of the European culture was the significant responsible for the enhancement of the African cultural development. The cultural development was happened after the 19th century by the effect of the Western culture. The African people were in critical condition during the 19th century and they were in the low level in technology, production, arts department, military when compared to other Western cultures.

After the contribution of the European culture they were developed in the case of political, social and the economical departments. The globalization was the responsible in the 20th century by the influences of the Western culture to the African culture. The African culture were faced many influences due to the impact of the European culture. During the 20th century, the several departments were improved in the case of African culture due to the impact of the European culture. The major departments of the African culture had improved in the case of fashion technology, music department, traditions, media, and communication and so on due to the expansion of the Western culture. The modification of the African culture was occurred by means of the westernization of the European culture on this African culture and the African people were satisfied with this modernization.
African political department had improved and they were provided many sectors form the African people. The educational institutions to the African students and hence the education system had modified in Africa. The political department carried out the sectors in making them better. This improvement led the African departments better and the economic, marketing departments have got profit by making the quality product. They made the exporting business effective by the expansion of the European culture. Western culture was the technical one and that can made many technical elements and the applications to the African culture and by the effect of the Western culture they had developed day by day. The musical contribution of the European culture was one of significant contribution to the African culture and the technical applications of the European culture were very useful to the African culture to develop. Hence European culture was the responsible for the enhancement of the African culture.
The African culture had their own traditions and their region was expanded prior to the Europeans. The African areas were containing the traditional region before the expansion of the Europeans in their areas. The Africanâ€™s villages were made up primarily of families and the each village of the Africans had one leader to organize the villages. The leader was the responsible and the environment of the villages based upon the leader.
They have given the correct response to the decision of the leader. The arts, music and the dance were also the entertainment of the African prior to the European culture and their dance performances was excellent as well as attractive. These entertainments were the big part of the Africans. In the 19th century, the agriculture was the occupation of their culture and they were worked very heavily for getting the profit. During that time, they were not having any technical movement to modify their life and the old traditional equipment only presented for their occupations. In the earlier century, the African nation was the one of prosperous nation and Ghana had controlled all trading such as gold, silver, ivory, iron and the slavery. During 19th century the slavery was the one that occurred in African culture and many of the African were changed their religion into Islam for avoiding the slavery and they were affected so much prior to the European culture.
Result of European Expansion on African culture
The African culture hade developed by the expansion of the European in their culture and they made many positive impacts to the African culture. The result of the European culture made the positive effects to the African culture. Their expansion was given the correct decision in taking all departments better. Their political, economical and the social ideas had given the improvement to the African culture.
In the 19th century, the nature of the European expansion motivated for colonial imperialism that modified dramatically in African culture. After the expansion of the Europeans the industrial evolution of the African was growing require for new resources and markets. The European expansion had protected the political system of the African and hence the laws and the regulations of the African became powerful in controlling the society The European contribution was also the significance one in avoiding the international tensions of the Africans. The European military offers had a more realistic view of the Africa after the expansion of the Europeans and they were concentrated in improving the social life of the Africans. The Europeans were controlled the government of Africa at every level and they were appointed the high level governors for overseeing the villages. They have set up the hospitals, water system rail road, communication, transportation system for the enhancement of the African society.
The loss of centeredness notes the mid stage of 19th and the 20th in non Western region and during that time, Africans were suffered without any social, economical and the political background to them. In that time, the negative effects were occurred and they canâ€™t live with satisfaction. The one negative effect is the slavery and due to this effect they were lost their basic requirements home, food, nature and everything and some people were changed into the Islam religion due to the slavery effect. According to Sayre, the mid stage of the 19th and 20th century was called as the loss of centered of the non Western culture.
