The antiquated gothic themed novel represents the creature as an intelligent and knowledgeable being who considers himself an outcast this drove him to despair. Although he was neglected and abandoned he educated himself. The way he spoke became more persuasive and sophisticated during the progression of the novel this leads us to feel more sympathetic for it, he desired to be accepted and acknowledged as a human (one of them) although he is deformed he gains human qualities because he develops the ability to feel affection. Somehow once he confronts a human he immediately evokes a negative response and the actual person within is not given the opportunity to emerge people usually judge by what is on the surface , many of the actions is out of isolation and realization that he was created as an unnatural being, this caused him to become bitter, aggressive and violent developing a murderous attitude. His reign of terror has begun it appeared as though to be the only way of accomplishing his ambition of having a companion showing how it aspires to be a pleasant person.
