Imagine you are speaking to a group of teenagers about sexuality issues. Write a ten-minute speech, addressing how teenagers can handle difficult issues with regard to sexuality. Be creative in your speech. You are addressing your peer group.

Good morning everyone! Today, I am honoured to be given the chance to give advices regarding sexuality issues. I believe most of you should know what sex is about. However, not everyone will agree on the term used in dictionary. Most people have their own definitions of "sex". Their definition includes the intercourse between penis-in-vagina, penis-in-anus, oral sex and many more other possibilities. It involves a lot of responsibility when you define yourself having sexual contact with another person, which may include having intercourse, touching or kissing. It is very important to protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections or pregnancy. You need to think carefully before making any decision to have sex.

There are infinite of reasons why do people want to have sex. These reasons include: Being curiosity or seeking of new experiences, having sex to escalate the depth of the relationship, experiencing physical pleasure and love, to feel desired by your partner, want to have a baby and etc.

Every human being has their own sexual desires. Hence, some couples tend to have sex with their partners that they find physically attractive while others may engage in sex to feel sexual pleasure, to reduce stress or improve and expand their experiences. For example, a couple does not have any experience in sex at all. Hence, they decided to engage in sex to expand their experiences so that next time when they do it, they feel more pleasured.

Some couples express their love, affection, closeness, commitment, expression and gratitude through engaging in sex while some others engage sex to express their value of their partner. They feel more connected after having sex and it is also a sign of expression to thank the partner for tolerating and acceptance of themselves. For example, to escalate the depth of their relationship even further, they decided to engage in sex.

Some couples engage in sex just to attain their goals. These goals include improving social status, to make babies or to seek revenge. Having sex does not mean it is a bad thing. Some couples have sex because they want to have babies to pass down their family names. Some people may engage themselves in sex for rewards or to improve their social status. For example, a person may engage himself or herself in sex with the hottest guy or lady in school to become more popular. However, having sex may also mean for a bad thing. Some people engage in sex to seek their revenge. For example, a girl broke up with her boyfriend because he slept with many other girls outside and she spread the news around the school. To seek his revenge, the boyfriend may find his ways to have sex with her and pass the sexually transmitted disease he got from outside to her. Lastly, sometimes people engage in sex for money, in other words, prostitution. Some people do not have the ability to get a proper job to work and hence, become a prostitute to earn for a living.

Lastly, people engage in sex may be due to insecurity reasons. These reasons include to boost self-esteem, feeling of pressure by partner or to guard your partner. One of the most common reasons when couples engage in sex is because they want to keep their partner with them. They feel more connected to them after having sex. Sometimes a person engages sex with their partner because their partner kept insisting in it. To prevent losing their partner, they may be "forced" to engage sex with their partner.

Different genders have their different reasons for engaging in sex and it can be described in two different terms. Body-centered sex is when a person engages in sex is because he or she like the feeling of pleasure. They are not really concern about the emotions of your partner. Person-centered sex is when a person engages in sex to keep their partner, feel connected to him or her. They are the ones who really care about the emotions of your partner.

From these two terms, I can say that there are huge differences between men and women. In general, men likes the way how it feels like while women feel more interested in the enhancement aspects of sex in a relationship. Men engage in sex more likely based on women's physical characteristics as she turns them on. For example, men who are more sexually stimulated by pornography, tend to have higher possibilities of having sex as they feel curiosity and want to try it out. As for women, they engage in sex based on the commitment in a relationship. For example, women usually want a deeper and stronger emotional closeness with their partner. Hence, they express their love through sex to stay committed and making contribution in a relationship.

The advantages of sex able to improve the heart health, relieve stress, depression, lower blood pressure, boosts self-esteem, improve intimacy, boost immunity, burn calories and able to sleep better. The disadvantages of sex may lead to unwanted pregnancy, infected by HIV, AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases, pressure and physical stress (sexual pressure) or emotional issues that youngster could not handle.

Let me tell you some sex fact happened in the world. In 2008, there was a significant increase of STIs cases from 238 to 787 cases were recorded among the teenagers. As compared in 2002, there are nine new HIV cases were reported among the teenagers in 2007. According to the survey conducted by education ministry and Health Promotional Board in 2006, students between the age of 14 to 19 were reported about 8% of the students being sexually active. Less than 80 of the teenagers in sexually active are reported using contraception to protect themselves from STDs and prevent unintended pregnancies. Hence, pre-mature sexual involvement is usually the teenager couples, who had sexual intercourse too early for the relationship before settling down, getting married.

Pre-mature sexual involvement may lead to couples having sex as granted, and loss the interest in a relationship. Pre-mature sexual involvement also blocks the depth of development of the true intimacy because it focuses more on sexual than love. Couples have sex just for getting pleasured and no true love was involved. Therefore, it will cause problems for the couples as they may find themselves struggling hard in a relationship. It will eventually destroyed the relationship one day.

Pre-mature sexual involvement may also leads to loss of self-esteem and self-respect, feel guilty about it and being regret. This is because such relationship usually will not last long but eventually will end up breaking up. For example, a girl had sex with her boyfriend because both of them are curious about it. However, after having sex, the boyfriend may just be uninterested in her anymore because he gets to "try" it with her already. The girl will start to feel regretted and guilty for what she had done with him, but nothing can be salvage. Once the boyfriend decided to break up with her, she will slowly lost her self-respect and self-esteem, feeling lost in the world and may lead to depression even committing suicide especially when she finds out she is pregnant.

Pre-mature sexual involvement may cause unwanted pregnancy or infected with STDs if safe sex such as using condom is not performed. This can lead to a lot complication such as responsibility issues. For example, if a girl discovered herself being pregnant, her boyfriend may not take up the responsibility and leave her alone. This is one of the reasons why there are a significant increasing number of single parents in the world.

Pre-mature sexual involvement may also happen due to the peer pressure. It is seen as one of the most important influence on engaging in sex. No one can control what your body should do and when should you do it. Being engage in sex does not make you feel cool but may make you become infamous in school. Your peers might tell you that you should try having sex as he or she had tried before and they feel pleasured when engaging in it. However, they may be making up stories from what they have seen in the internet or magazines. Hence, you should not give in to peer pressure about sex.

Therefore, in conclusion, I believe that choosing to have sex is a big decision. Sometimes engaging in sex can help to improve your health condition. You can have sex anytime you want but it is important to wait until you are ready to have sex. Whenever you engage in sex, contraception such as condom is needed to protect yourself from STDs and prevent unintended pregnancies. Thank you for your kind attention.
