Television is just a box which full with electrical component. But once we push on the power button, it can be a source of entertainment, education, knowledge and full of information. 'It can keep us up to date with the latest development' about the global issue. Nowadays, 'every house has a television set and just about everyone watches it that may make them glue their eyes on it'. So 'television exerts a very large influence on people' especially children that easily deprave by it. Children minds are clean, so they know nothing whether the program they watch give them good or bad effect. Television can deprave children 'in variety of ways' such as behaviour, language, emotions, and the way they think.

First and foremost, television can deprave children in terms of behaviour. 'Television programmes of today are filled with violence and there is never a shortage of violent shows'.'Extensive research evidence indicates that media violence can contribute to children aggressive behavior, desensitization to violence, nightmares, and fear of being harmed'.'Children imitate the violence they see on television'. 'In other words, children under age eight cannot tell the difference between reality and fantasy, making them more vulnerable to learning from and adopting as reality the violence they see on television. 'Repeated exposure to television violence makes children less sensitive toward its effects on victims and the human suffering it causes'. 'According to The American Academy Of Pediatrics, programs designed for children more often contain violence that often promotes violent acts as a fun'. 'Even in G-rated, animated movies and DVDs, violence is common; often as a way for the good characters to solve their problems'. 'Even "good guys" beating up "bad guys" gives a message that violence is normal and okay'. 'Many children will try to be like their ''good guy heroes '' in their play'. Children know nothing about the programmed what they watched may trouble them in the future. We scared if they will do the same thing just for fun and hurt themselves .So; this is true television can makes children act wrongly without their knowledge.

Secondly, 'exposure to audible television has implication language acquisition and brain development of children'. As we know, every parent wants their children to behave properly and speak mannerly. In fact, almost every educated parent teaches their children as well as they can. But once they learn new words from television, we can normally see that the children start to use improper language even to their own parents. This must be something that may shock the parents because their children watch unsuitable programmed, and then their children language are totally change. 'Some researchers claim that the attention deficit disorders in children are a result of watching television'. ‘On a lighter side, public can see how television programmed have determined the way people live'. The words such as 'damn it' and 'right-on' in 'everyday conversation' in television programmed can be easily learn and use by children. If they always use those improper words, it will be a habit and they will not even feel shame or guilty using those kinds of words towards each other or someone older. So, television does play an important role in mould children language. It is not a good way if parents let their children watch television by their own because they maybe watch some programmed that used improper language as their medium of information.

Furthermore, 'studies in psychology have shown that watching intense emotions on television leaves a long-lasting impact on one's mind' especially children. In addition, ‘horror scenes, ghosts, frightful scenes that are featured on television have a negative impact on the minds of people watching them'. 'Violence, murder, bloodshed and physical abuse that is shown on television impacts the thoughts and emotions' of children. 'Children can come to view the world as a mean and scary place when they take violence and other disturbing themes on TV to be accurate in real life'. Consequently, their emotion may distracted if they watched horror movies in television and they can be ' frightened or upset by those stories' that may 'include bad dreams, anxious feelings, being afraid of being alone, withdrawing from friends and missing school'.'Many children exposed to scary movies regret that they watched because of the intensity of their fright reactions'. 'Children ages 8-12 years who view violence are often frightened that they may be a victim of violence or a natural disaster'. Television shows can affect children to be superstitious if they keep on watching television programmes that are inappropriate to be watch by them such as 'Ghost Whisperer' or 'Ghost Adventures'. So, the consequences of watching those kinds of shows may give bad effect to children emotions.

Last but not least, television can deprave children in terms of the way they think. 'Television may seem to help someone to get rid of tensions but it is rather adding a burden to the brain'.' It has a severely negative impact on the minds of the watchers' especially on children. 'Unsupervised television watching in children can lead to an early exposure to a wide variety of things'. According to Kyla Boyse, R.N. ,a staff at the University Of Michigan, 'kids can gets a lot of information about sexuality from television' that are totally not suits their age at all to get to know or watch any programmed that lead to sex issue. This will effect children minds to think unwise things about their opposite gender and sex. Moreover, they will love to watch television more than do anything else. This may give big impact to their studies because they 'propose' so many times to 'watch television more than reading or imaginative play'. 'Parents and teachers have long voiced concerns regarding television's potential effects on children's thinking and school achievement'.'Children who view television most heavily do seem to spend less time engaged in activities that encourage cognitive development and in turn show the lowest achievement. For light to moderate television viewers, program content, family interaction, and opportunities for other activities moderate television's effects on children's achievement and creativity'. So, based on different kinds of programmed that children had watched in television, they may have been watching violent crimes, horror movies, inappropriate adult programmed that can give bad influence to their own thinking.

In brief, children's mind is totally clean and they are very innocent to know about the world of television. They do not even know whether what they had watched gives them so many bad effects than its good. Television can be educating to children but it contents not really informative. It is true, there are some parts of those programmed in television that suits children but most of the times it is an adult programmed that is inappropriate for them. It is not that we cannot let children watch the television but parents have to be around and supervised their own children from being depraved too far by it.
