Shoes are very important for humans in the world. Shoe is an item of footwear intended to protect and comfort the human foot while doing various activities such as walking, running and etc. The design of shoes has varied enormously through time, with appearance originally being tied to function. Shoes have traditionally been made from leather, wood or canvas, but are increasingly made from rubber, plastics, and other petrochemical-derived materials. The foot contains more bones than any other single part of the body. Though it has evolved over hundreds of thousands of years in relation to vastly varied terrain and climate conditions, the foot is still vulnerable to environmental hazards such as sharp rocks and hot ground, against which shoes can protect.

What is insole of shoes?
Do you know about insole of shoes? Do you know what the function of insole of shoes is? Do you know how important is insole of shoes for human?
Shoes are not only to protect human's feet, but also important for maintaining healthy legs and back. Wearing shoes without the correct support can easily cause sore heels, aching arches and back and bruising on the calls of the feet. Adding or replacing an insole can help to combat these problems.
The meaning of insole is the inside part of the shoe that runs underneath the sole (bottom) of the foot. Insoles can usually be easily removed and wearers will sometimes replace the manufacture's insole with specialty insoles they have purchased separately. Insoles are also known as foot beds or inner soles. It is also an extra strip of material put inside the shoes for comfort and protection. However, the insole often wears out long before the shoe does or the shoe does not offer enough support for the arch of the foot, the ball of the foot or the heel of the foot. When this is the case, existing insoles can be replaced with new ones.
There are many type of shoes have insole inside such as sport shoes, sneakers, high heels, flay heels and so on. Those insoles are not same for every shoe. Insole can help human to protect their feet. Besides that, insoles also can let people feel the comfortable when wearing the shoes for daily work like walking, exercising, running, dancing and so on.
There are many types of insole in shoes to protect our feet:
Insoles for balls of the feet
If there is a lot of pressure on feet for the extended periods of time, the balls of the feet can become tender and sore. For example, shoes that have a heel can be stressful on the balls of the feet. There are some specific insoles that can be added to a high heel shoe or attached directly to the bottom of the foot to cushion so that the balls of the feet more fully support.
Arch/ Flat feet support insoles
These insoles are made from silicon, firm polyester, cowhile leather and other materials. There are specific insoles for people who have flat feet or very arched feet.
Excessive standing or walking may cause the heels of the foot become ache. Adding a cushion or firm heel support, can reduce the discomfort greatly.
Insole come in variety of different materials such as silicon, cowhide leather, cotton cushion and foam cushion. The type of material an insole is made of depends on the need of human. For example, because cowhide leather is tough and firm, it is suitable for strong support, like in the arch; cotton cushioning is soft and would not provide the needed support in this case. However, it is always recommended to see a doctor if you have foot pain that is persistent and does not go away with store-bought insoles.

Insoles has the right products to help treat foot problems
Most of the population will experience foot problems at some point during their life's journey. Keep in mind that the foot bears the entire weight of the body and is our foundation. Some foot problems can be difficult to recognize (always consult with a medical professional for diagnosis) because the foot is so unique and has so many parts. We want you to understand how your foot can be injured and how to prevent it at here.
Some common foot problems are:
Plantar Fasciitis is an inflammation caused by excessive stretching of the plantar fascia attaching at the bottom of the heel bone and extending to the forefoot.
A heel spur develops as an abnormal growth of the heel bone. Calcium deposits form when the plantar fascia pulls away from the heel area, causing a bony protrusion, or heel spur to develop.
A bunion is a prominent bump on the inside of the foot around the big toe joint. This bump is actually a bone protruding towards the inside of the foot.
Other significant foot problems:
Achilles Tendonitis causes inflammation and degeneration of the Achilles tendon. The Achilles tendon is the large tendon located in the back of the leg that inserts into the heel.
Arch pain (often referred to as arch strain) refers to an inflammation and/or burning sensation at the arch of the foot.
Callus formation is an accumulation of dead skin cells that harden and thicken over an area of the foot.
A hammer toe is a toe that is contracted at the middle joint in the toe, and can lead to severe pressure and pain.
Metatarsalgia is a general term used to denote a painful foot condition in the ball-of-the-foot.
Morton's Neuroma is a common foot problem associated with pain, swelling and/or an inflammation of a nerve, usually at the ball-of-the-foot between the 3rd and 4th toes.
Morton's Toe is a common forefoot disorder where the second toe is longer than the Big Toe.
Overlapping toes can occur in any of the toes and can cause extreme irritation if not corrected.
A Tailor's Bunion is a prominent bump on the outside of the foot around the little toe joint. This bump is actually a bone protruding towards the inside of the foot.
All other foot problems:
Over pronation (flat feet)
The process of insole
Making Customized Insoles or Foot beds isn't rocket science but there are a series of processes and stages we follow to ensure you get the right insole for your particular problem.
Step 1 - Consultation
The first thing we do is talk (and listen) to what you have to say, what problems you are having be it foot, knee or lower back pain. We will establish what footwear you wear, where you work, what you do for a job, what leisure activity you participate in as these can all have a bearing on foot and foot related problems. We will also look at wear patterns on your shoes to try and get clues as to what is happening when you walk.
Step 2 - Analysis
The next thing we need to do is analysis the position of the bones in your feet as this will affect alignment. For this we use a piece of equipment called a Podascope. With your shoes and socks off and pants rolled up to your knees we can determine whether you are an Over Pronator, Over Supinator or have normal feet. We can also look at your lower leg alignment and weight distribution patterns under your feet.
Step 3 - Re-Alignment
The next stage is to correct any alignment problems you may have such as collapsed medial arch, displaced Talus joint, or mis-aligned sub or mid Talar joint. To do this we will usually employ the Windlass method which involves lifting the big toe to induce tension in the Plantar Fascia underneath the foot. This helps to ease the medial arch into a more normal position and, usually places the Sub talar joint back into position. If we are still not happy we will rotate the ankle or manipulate the knee to achieve full alignment. NOTE: We only move on to the next stage when we are satisfied we can obtain a decent medial arch and rear foot alignment. In some instances where medial arch collapse is extremely severe it is impossible to obtain an acceptable foot position. In these cases we may suggest a pre-shaped insole such as the Sides 3 feet range. Whilst an off the shelf insole will not perform as well, or be as comfortable as a custom option, it can provide comfort and relief from pain and help to re-align feet and lower limbs.
Step 4 - Moulding
We then move on to the HD Vac to take a mould of your feet. This piece of equipment is simply two rubber bags filled with extremely fine Silicon sand and connected to a vacuum pump. We stand you on the bags, manoeuvre your foot into the correct position and then suck all the air out. This procedure provides us with a perfect footprint from which to make your insole. Whilst we are taking the mould a pair of pre-selected, flat insoles will be warming up on the Modulab, a micro-processor controlled vacuum heating unit. The warm insoles are then carefully positioned onto your foot moulds and you stand on them again, thereby easing the insoles into the shape of your feet.
Step 5 - Stabilizing
The insole is now almost finished but we need to strengthen the medial arch area and stabilize the rear foot. To do this we glue a heel stabilizer to the underneath of the insole which reaches from the back of the heel to just behind the metarsal heads. The stabilizer is ground down flat under the heel to introduce rear foot stability and we then grind under the medial arch. The amount taken out is determined by the weight of the customer and the type of footwear the insoles are going in.
Step 6 - Finishing
The insoles are now trimmed to fit into your personal footwear. We usually ask customers to bring in 2 or 3 pairs of shoes or boots and we trim to "Best Fit" to ensure they can be swapped around.
Step 7 - Using
Most people can use the insoles straight away, all day and everyday without any reaction elsewhere. However, a small percentage of customers will experience twinges either in the medial arch, knees, hips, pelvis or lower back and should therefore break them in gently, wearing them a couple of hours a day until they are fully accustomed to them.
DIY of insoles
DIY your own shoe insoles can save money and help recycle items you no longer need, such as cardboard or an old exercise mat. As an added bonus, if you want to vary the insole size to accommodate your own footwear needs, making your own enables you to do so. Also, swapping insoles at regular intervals may result in less moisture trapped in the shoes, possibly extending the shoes' lifespa. This article provides several ways to make shoe insoles, letting you choose the one that suits your needs best.
First, simply take away the old lining from your shoes. Follow a flip flop or shoe of your size onto the smooth side of an exercise mat or old yoga.
Cut out the design.
Flip over what you were cut and follow it again onto the smooth side of the mat for the opposite foot. Cut out this insole and you will have a right and left foot insole.
Follow and cut out four more insoles.
Stack the two insoles together, with the textured side up, for each foot.
Using a hot glue gun. Go little by little as opposed to trying to glue the whole layer at once.
Lastly, leave to dry before you put in your shoes for use.
In the conclusion, shoes are very important to us for protect out feet. We cannot do our daily work without shoes at outside. Different types of shoes have different types of function. So that, we must wear shoes that suitable for an activity to protect our feet. For example, running must wear running shoes so that our feet will not feel pain after running. Lastly, according to our research and studies wear the correct shoes also can help our health of feet.
We recommend that when we buy a pair of shoes, we must think about the function of the shoes that we need, think about the quality of the shoes, think about are there any effect to our health when we wear the shoes, and also think about can we afford to about the shoes.
