The modern life nowadays which is filled with demands, frustrations, deadlines and hassles can be very stressful. Stress is becoming a very major problem for a lot of people. A challenging and hectic job, difficult life at home, bills to be paid, excessive smoking, drinking and unhealthy eating habits are some of the causes of major stress.

Stress can lead to risky situations if it is not handled and prevented at the beginning stage. There are a lot ways on how to overcome stress in which it all comes under one roof called "Stress Management". Firstly, stress can be reduced by doing regular exercise, meditation and Yoga. All these works as a highlighting stress relaxant tool which exerts tension from body muscles, gives a calm and peaceful state of mind, refreshes and strengthens the mind and body and distracts the mind from stress. Secondly, sleeping for a longer period also helps to reduce stress. It happens during sleeping, in where the brain reboots and refreshes and the individual will be able to wake up to a clearer and fresher state of mind. Thirdly, being organized helps a lot in managing stress. Organized means rearranging things at home and office, clearing up mess, setting priorities in a right way, breaking responsibilities in a more manageable way, have a to-do-list, remove any kind of distractions, simplifying financial constraints and many more. Fourthly, treating our body right can also eliminate stress. Having a good and healthy eating habit every day as well as consuming enough water for our body can help to gain more energy. Self - confidence can also be gained because we feel good when we consume healthy food. Fifthly, stress can be reduced by doing calming activities. Activities such as taking an aroma therapy bath, reading, gardening, taking a slow walk, listening to music, watching comedy movies, cooking and many other things that can be done to take away stress from the mind. The sixth point is, talking to friends can be very helpful in the process of stress management. This is a very important tool in where bottled up problems and feelings can be let out or told to someone which gives a sense of belonging and relief which automatically takes away the stress. Doing minor things also can benefit in managing stress such as getting creative, saying something positive to yourself when you wake up in the morning, starting every day spiritually, setting goals that need to be achieved and taking up responsibilities. Developing a sense of humor and learning to say no also strengthens the process of stress management.

In a conclusion, stress is a major problem which if it is left unattended, it can wreck a person's life. But, when all these simple ways of overcoming stress is applied, then stress will reduce and eventually fade away leading to a more manageable way of living life.
