Classic literature (latin and greek)

Stories provide a meaningful context for language. Stories help develop pupils´ reading habits. They are entertaining, motivating and relevant to the children´s world. Stories stimulate the imagination and powers of creativity. They involve the readers and listeners directly and personally in narrative and provide learners with a shared experience.

Cooking class

Cooking classes are fun to attend. The students will learn new dishes and take home new techniques and ideas to make cooking at home more enjoyable.

Students will be given cooking lessons at school. I think that all pupils should know how to make different healthy meals.

The teacher will be sure that pupils can learn simple, healthy recipes using fresh ingredients. The students should learn to cook classic English dishes and international cuisine. They must be healthy and easy to prepare.

Meals are an important way schools can help generate healthy adults. The classes must be practical, and will also include diet and nutrition, hygiene and safety and intelligent food shopping.

Theatre adapted for pupils with thirteen or fourteen years old, they also must know the precedents of the theatre, such as the "singing fesceninos" the "atellans farce" and "satura."

Despite theatre suggesting otherwise, it is in fact a highly communicative approach to language acquisition. Theatre activities are effective for students of all ages when learning and revising vocabulary and structure. They encourage children to give a natural response to what has just has taken place.

To help the student recognize and pronounce English sounds. Make it interesting and fun to learn, with lots of different types of exercise. They will realize that they are not only learning how to pronounce sounds, they are also practicing the skills needed to communicate in real life. Stress and intonation as well as sounds, are important for successful communication in English.

The contemporary English language have approximately 44 sounds (phonemes) represented by 26 letters. The way the English language is represented is arbitrary and, for most students, very hard to "discover" or work out. The teaching of phonics is important as it enables children to understand the common conventions for representing the sounds in writing.

I think teachers must teach English through Music because the pupils generally look forward to and enjoy Music and this enthusiasm will then be associated with learning English. Pupils who may be struggling in a more "academic" environment can often shine in Music; it allows for differentiation in language and musical abilities. Music can be linked with other subjects in the curriculum and that point is very interesting.

Apart from Music 1 Teachers can teach and reinforce the vocabulary taught in English providing opportunities for a total physical response to the vocabulary learnt in another subject.

Pupils learn and use the vocabulary and language related directly or indirectly to music.

The implementation of first aid courses within the classroom can be performed as a cross-curricular project in the schools, in this sense we can take advantage of the many tools available and within these virtual spaces and the Internet as a means of integration and appropriation of different technological supports with those currently. The abilities and skills in first aid, constitute a useful tool for all people and allow easy access and understanding through all possible tools, including the technology is not only valid but essential.

Universal literature (poetry and prose)

I think it is a very interesting subject, because through different authors and their main works they will get to know the characteristics of the period in which they lived, also on a universal level context. Like Lord Byron, John Keats, Baudelaire… They can be used to introduce or practice language forms or vocabulary. The use of stories encourages active participation through the use of repetition which in turn develops fluency.

Work with various types of texts is important for develop language skills and know how other people live, their cultures or their ways of life. Reading literature helps to instill the joy of reading in students.
