This study provided the background, objective and problem statement, literature review, research methodology, finding, discussion and recommendation and conclusion.

term of teaching-learning practices and school management in order to teaching knowledge to students. The Smart School Integrated Solution which have been conducted by Multimedia Development Corporation, Malaysia and Ministry of Education Malaysia, they have highlight Smart School Integrated Solution which have 9 component (Frost & Sullivan).

The smart school system is the web base application smart school and stimulating educational environment which provides access to Internet, innovative and engaging materials, a management system and other basic ICT facilities that are handled by the professionally trained teachers and administrator for effective and productive teaching and learning and school administrator purpose. The system is teaching and learning can be implementation with IT support. The teachers can upload the knowledge information and the students can download it. The teachers also can upload useful article in order to support plentiful knowledge for students. The students view the website and obtain the usefulness information. They can get new knowledge or information very fast and convenience. The multimedia application should design in this system such as 3D and flash etc. The IT technology was very useful for smart school.

The smart school must update IT technology frequently which is science teaching and student learning can be made more efficient and enabling with the use of new technology. Beside, more parents' involvement in educational process to keep parents fully informed on the course of the learning process, activities, and other effective partnerships that they receive their children. Problem Statement

Time constraint also can considered as the barrier to using multimedia as an interactive element in website whereby it takes a long time to mastery the applications of multimedia software in order to create any kind of graphics creatively. Research Methodology

In generally, the methodology of this research is preliminary research that is based on ICT. It uses to giving teachers an opportunity to work with ICT from the outset so that they are aware of all the problems involved when they attempt to impart the skills to their students.

The Smart School systems for Malaysia education are still at the initial stage, although as identified several phase to assist students in learning and life. Furthermore, to facilitate the study and knowledge about the effectiveness of this system in accordance with the requirements of the Malaysian government to expand broadband to rural areas, including rural areas students will be able to find information related with learning and are exposed on the ICT world. To make this system successfully, the method to develop this system are also important. The System Life Cycle has been chosen as a guide and its have several phase that suitable to complete this system. The Requirement analysis phase need to identify the system requirement and because of this system are not familiar in this country, we have to search and find it in the country like South Africa, which is this system have been used (Haris, 2001).

The Design development phase, after all requirement and analysis has done. The system will be started to design and develop by the developer. The establishment of these smart school system website will be enhanced by sharing exemplars of what is considered to be effective teaching.

For the Quality Assurance & testing phase, this system will be tested to get the feedback from the user either all requirement have been done or not. Furthermore, to make sure this system will help the Malaysian education become more effective and efficiency.

The last but not least, the Implementation & deployment phase. Part of the Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) after the system has been tested during the Quality Assurance & testing and accepted by the user, the system is installed and made operational in a production environment, in accordance with the requirements.

The last is the maintenance & support phase involves making changes to hardware, software, and documentation to support its operational effectiveness. It includes making changes to improve a system's performance, correct problems, enhance security, or address user requirements.

Finding Expected

Smart school system website is very important to education in Malaysia in order to achieving the government aims to capitalize on the presence of leading-edge technologies and the rapid development of the MSC's infrastructure to jump start deployment of enabling technology to schools. Thus, the aim of smart school system website of education in Malaysia is to transformation knowledge information to student, parent and teacher by IT technology support. The well-designed multimedia can give positive benefits to learners in terms of alternative perspective, active participation by users, accelerated learning, retention and application of knowledge, problem-solving and decision-making skills and higher-order thinking.

There were several recommendations that resulted from doing this research. The following shows the most considerable recommendations can be considered to provide additional benefit to students and teachers:

Information reclamation expertise teaching to be entrenched in the curriculum which has been commenced at any applicable point in time and will be sustained by school management to certify the optimal usage of ICT tools and services offered in the smart schools.

To certify the computer network have been functioned satisfactory and accessible for both students and teachers because they can enriched the web information sharing between them.

To provide teachers with self-determination to build up and enhance the online resources they were delivery for their students. This circumstances will avoid the displeasure towards the established software is overwhelm and teachers feel more in control.


As a conclusion, in any transformation exercise, benchmarks and indicators of success and failure are required to measure the way we conduct our work, projects and programs. When the exercise is transforming education through the use of ICTs, indicators focused on ICT are given emphasis. Efforts to integrate ICT in education are widespread globally, but to determine the national impact of ICT, the set of indicators or criteria is required for measurement and ranking on a local basis.

Performance indicators to monitor the use and outcomes of technologies also provide useful information for responding to challenges that may arise. The relationships between technology use and educational development, empowerment of teachers, changes in teaching and learning processes and student learning are demonstrated through the use of indicators. It is important to note that using technology is not an end in itself, but a means to promote educational outcomes, creativity, empowerment of learners and teachers, and the development of resourceful learners and problem solvers.

In order to assess these outcomes, appropriate measurement tools and indicators are needed. To transform a school, no matter how academically brilliant, from a non-ICT oriented teaching and learning environment, to one which maximizes and promotes the teaching and learning advantages of ICT to the fullest, clear direction and guidance must be given to the training of both the educators (who use the system) and the technicians (who maintain the system). Strategically, the thrust of the entire programme is one of monitoring and guidance (as a form of subtle and gentle enforcement) activities simultaneously backed by value-adding (or reinforcement) support in identified weak areas.
