With the economy and science and technology development, education has become a important thing for chinese people. Education's quality turn to a high level than tranditional education before. At the same time, chinese children will face a big chance,such as the English study. In most of chinese people consider,they think if they good at English,they have many ways to develop themselves,such as go abroad to study or work,they will have a bright future. According to many scientificic evidence,the proof is that 3 to 6 years old children are suit with learn English,and they are ability to learn well.So more and more chinese parents choose the English training institution for their little kids.Children's after-school time is not fun but to English training institution to learn English. Most children really feel unhappy, but nobody understand them, they have to use their funny time to English training institution to learn English. To English training become a new consumption patten in china. No matter how much money parents would rather spend it.I used questionnaire survey collect information,my respongdents included little kids who are studying English in the English training institution and their parents.The questionnaire survey shows that most of kids went to English training institution to learn English not volunteer, their parents bring them to learen English;They don't like studying English but their parents deem that study English are good for their children's future. Children's weekend time all to study English,they have a little time to fun and the children are not happy ,but their parents never care about their ture feeling. They are studying English from a young age.Childhood means a happy and full of funny time 's period.Nowdays more and more children lose their precious childhood.I hope parents would care more about their kids ture feeling,they need a happy and unforgetable childhood.

Why do so many English training institutions?Why do children go to English training to learn?

1.Status of Children English Training

Started from chinese people had need to learn English. The children were sent to English training institutions to learn English, the English training institutions markets occupy an important position. We can see that a large number English training institutions appeared.The training content include Enlish ,Japanese and so on, The training age include littlie kids to adults. The training course include IELTS,TOEFL,New concept and so on..There are many English training institutions brand such as New Channel, New Concept, Li Yang crazy English and so on..May be to English training institutions to learn English turn into a fashionable way. The English training institutions confronted with fierce competition children English training markets, the English training institutions to classify be more careful.

2.Classification of English training

According to some informations,the English training institutions situations can divide into five parts.

1)From age

Now from domestic English training institutions situations, they classify the children's age and this is a most direct way.The first stage age is 3 to 6 ,the second stage age is 7 to 12,the third stage age is 12 to 18. Different stages have different psychological characteristic, so English training institutions according to the characteristic, they set up a series of teaching methods.For example,they use English songs and English stories for the little children on the basis of children's interest.To older children they also teach English songs and English stories on the basis of children's interest but will add reading ,writing,listening, spoken and other applied skills. English training institutions train children all of English skills and how to pass exams.

2)From price

Except the children's age, English training institutions classify according to training's price.If 30 to 50 or more people a class, the price in a low level; 10 to 25 people a class ,the price in a middle level;10 or more less people a class,the price in a high level because there are foreign teachers to teach; Even 1 to 1 teach is expensive.

3) From objective

Children go English training institutions to learn has many objective. Some of children's parents wish their children will be good at spoken;some of children's parents want the children pass the English exam at school; some of parents want their children go abroad in the future..But I think their comment objective is they don't want their children lost where they started.

4)From method

There are a lot of teach mathods.Such as situational teaching,English test,English corner and foreign teach.

5)From content

3. Physiological characteristics of children

1)Scientific theory

According to Cornell University research institute in 1996, the first phase of "Nature" magazine, the point of view: when young children learn a foreign language,foreign language is stored in the "Broken Cass area" of humanity brains,the area is the same with the mother tongue area of the brain.But adults learn a foreign language, foreign language is stored in a new memory structure area in the brain.This new memory structure area's sensitivity not as good as the "Broken Cass area",and when people ues the new area should need the "Broken Cass area" cooperate .So that explains why adults learn a foreign language is difficult and the effect is not obvious and hard to set up a language sense of "Broken Cass area".This result fully shows that children early period, that is 3 to 6 years old children to learn a foreign language has a advantageous condition.Moreover, according to related research shows that children to language's pronunciation and intonation have susceptibility ,their listen and imitate more excellence than other age of children. So scientists believe that 3 to 6 years old is a people learn second second language's best period. Before 6 years old to learn second language is good for a normal pronunciation. Mother tongue (Chinese) has been form a pattern in the brain,from this time to start study a second language(English), different expression modes of English is very difficult to interfere with the mother tongue.This view is widely endorse by domestic academia.By Gao Yihong through research shows that people learn two languages at the same time to learn better and imporve each languages,the expression and communication skills are also improve.By a large mumber cases can improve that:children not only learen well their mother language but also easy to learn a second language,even can easy to learn others languages.From physiology and psychology,kid's stage is a kay period for children to learn second language.Early stage ,children to every language have a big sensibility,their language's feelings are great and excellt imitation and acute listen skills.By 1998 Nobel Prize winner of physics,he is a Chinese American scientist professor Cui Qi,when he accept reporeter's interview,he said his achievement profit from bilingual education(chinese and English) from childhood,bilingual education promote his thinking development.

2) Results

Above of the scientific theory tell us that a key period of little children learn a foreign language is important.So china begin to bilingual teaching from kindergarten or more early age. And the bilingual teaching be much accounted of parents,school,country and English training institutions's markets.To set up a English training institution is a business opportunity. Parents are believe that English is useful and they want their children to be a English strongman.

I think must these scientific theories lead to more and more children were sent to English training institutions to learn English.

1. The research methodology

By the theory, questionnaire survey will reliable, because:1) questionnaire survey is a most popular and important method,it can quick and effectively to collect data and this way will spend a ltiile money.2)questionnaire survey through specific people to do a survey,so the research results are very effectively.3) questionnaire survey's interference is small.(谢家æž-,2008)

My reaearch include children and parents,so I decided to used questionnaire survey,my purpose is make the results of my research is more real and effective.My interviewees are 10 children of 3 to 7 years old and 10 of children's parents. There are a 3.5 years old boy ,a 4years old boy and a 4 years old girl, a 5years old boy and two 5years old girl,a 6 years old boy and two 6 years old girl, a 7 years old boy and a 7years old girl of my interviewees,10 children in total. I think the children are young age, most of them can not recognize chinese character, so I asked them and recorded their answers.And the children are studying in the English training institutions. I prepared two questionnaire survey for children and parents diffirent questions. I think it would more objectivity and authentic.

2. The data analysis

1) The data analysis of children edition questions

The first question rusult:27.5% children chose answer A, 45% children chose answerB, 27.5%children chose answerC.I found answerB had 45%children chose it,so it means that the children go to English training are not really interested in English,the other means that their parents bring them to learn English.

The second question rusult:nobody chose answer A, 91% children chose answerB, 9% child chose answer C.I found many children chose answerB, it means that they need lot of time to fun and they need to have much time to fun,it is an important thing to them,but now they deem that they have a little time to fun,the reason is they should use the free time to learn Englsih.

The third question rusult: 90% children chose answer A, 9%child chose answerB, nobody chose answer C, it means that most of children use their weekend time to study, some children not only use their weekend time to learn English but also learn other skills.I infer from this rusult that children have no time to fun, I think they may have a big stress.

The fourth question rusult: 18%children chose answer A, 55%children chose answerB, 27% children chose answer C, it means that most children are fell unhappy, a few children fell happy, few children fell so so.Because their weekend time have to study ,they have no time to play.If they are unhappy, how they English learn from good examples?

The fifth question rusult: 91%children chose answer A, 9% child chose answerB, I infer from this rusult that children go to learn English not by themselves and parents bring them to learn.May be parents tihink learn English is useful,so they bring kids to learn.

From five questions, I can kown:The children don't like to English training to learn on the weekend and they have no enough time to fun,most of them are not interested in English,but they can not rufuse,because their parents bring them to learn,so they are unhappy.

2) The data analysis of parents edition questions

The first question rusult: 28% children studied English to English training for 1 year, 18%children for half a year, 18% children for 4 months, 9%child for 2 months, 9%child for a year and a half, 9% child for 2 years, 9% child for 7 months.I can find that a large members of children to English training to learn for a long time, it means that they begin to learn English from a young age.

The second question rusult:100% parents chose answer A, 0 parents chose answerB, 0 parents chose answer C, it means that all of parents think young age begin to learn English helpful to children's future,they think English is imporant

The third question rusult: 100% parents chose answer A, 0 parents chose answerB, it means that all of parents agree with children use weekend to learn English,children have free time on the weekend, children use weekend to learn is reasonable.Parents use adults's notion to consider this question.

The fourth question rusult: 91% parents chose answer A, 0 parents chose answerB, 9%parents chose answer C, it means that most of children use their weekend time to study, some children not only use their weekend time to learn English but also learn other skills.May be parents bring their children to them skills what they consider necessary and useful.

The fifth question rusult: 9% parents chose answer A, 0 parents chose answerB, 91% parents chose answer C, why most of parents chose answer C ,because they use their judge to chose the answer ,so they chose a uncertainty answer.They don't know children need a lot of time to fun.

The sixth question rusult: 18%parents chose answer A, 27%parents chose answerB, 55%parents chose answer C,the same with the fifth question rusult,parents use their judge to considr ,so most parents chose the answer C,they don't know their children happy or unhappy?

The eighth question rusult: 9%parents chose answer A, 91%parents chose answerB, the children go to English training not their interests ,but the parents want them to learn.

From eight questions, I can kown:parents care about what skills good for children's future, they don't care about whether their children are interested in that or not ? From children of young age ,they begin to learn English.They use children's funny time to learn English, it makes children unhappy.But they don't know their children unhappy.

3)total data analysis of questionnaire survey

According to my questionnaire result, I find: 1)they are young,most of children don't like learning English,they use their weekend time to English training to study English ,so they have not enough time to play,they are not happy to learn English,most of them are parents bring them to English training. 2)children from a young age to learn English,all of parents deem that it helpful to kids from a young age to English training,they all agree with kids should be learn English from a young age,they think their kids have a mezzo to fun and kids to English training are not happy or not unhappy,they use kids's weekend time bring them to learn English.3)From two rusults above, I think : Chinese parents pay too much attention to learn English,it lead to they bring their children to learn English from a young age,they don't consider childhood important to children, children need full of time to play and whether their kids are interested in English or not?They don't know their children to learn English really unhappy.Please parents not according to yours opinions to treat children's study and future.Parents can communicate with children to know what do they want?

From my study I deem that children go to English training institutions to learn on the weekend are unhappy, they need full of time to fun,but paretns not understand.Parents think use the funny time to English training is a good way to improve children's English,this can lay a good foundation of English learning.Interest is a key to study,not matter which subjects children to learn.For example, if children are not interested in English, not matter parens spend how much money or find a English training how famous to learn, kids not sure will learn English well.Don't let children fell tired.We should respect children's opinions.Don't in despite of school's knowledges.If children can take in knowleges completely which school teach,it means your kids are excellt.

I agree English is important.but to English training is not only way to learn English,there are many ways to learn English.My suggests: buy some CD or vidios and let children are interested it.I hope parents can care more about kid's ture feeling.Please return children a happiness to childhood,they need a happy chilhood.
