If you are asking about diversity in the classroom, there are many benefits to students and the teacher. Yes the teacher can learn different viewpoints, and learn about different cultures, but the students can too. Imagine if all students had a background about different races, ethnicity's, and so forth. I believe a lot of problems in society are ignorance. If students (and teachers) were more educated about different cultures and races it would be a better place!
You mean what is the value of receiving a quality education in a diverse community? The value is in challenging your comfort zone ("it's a different place from where you come from") and meeting people from other countries, states, cultures, languages, traditions.
it is important because we need to know about other culture, races, and religion. we live in a very diverse country so why not get used to being around others, i love learning about other races/ethnicities i watch africa today on tv and i have learned so much about africa stuff that i didnt learn in school. the media makes it seem like afica is one big place with people running around there are actually rich places and a lot of countries i want to learn about other countries too i love the world even if there are people who hate me cuz of my skin color!!!! everyone should feel the same way no matter what race u are!!!!!
It provides education through experience. By experiencing what its like to rub elbows with people of many different backgrounds, you're preparing yourself for the real world where everyone is a grown and developed individual that has a different life experience from yours
rovided more opportunities for various groups. At the same time the diversity is good in and out of the classroom in order to provide for a variety of experiences.
The main thing to focus on here is that teachers must be somewhat diversified and capable of teaching other things than just their specialty, or they also have to be prepared to teach a different level of school (different grade) then they have taught in the past. That is why most teachers have credentials to teach from say K-12 and any class within that range. It can also mean that you are willing to take on extra responsibilities such as Coaching, Mentoring, or managing a school sports team or school class trip.
The term special education means that a student needs to be educated in a special way that is different from the norm.
The impact of cultural diversity on special education is that many people don't know that special ed. can mean gifted students as well. They would have to be educated in a special way as well, and it doesn't just mean that a child is "slow".
There are so many different cultures in the U.S.
today, and more immigrants that are learning English. These students might be extremely smart in their own culture, but in ours would be considered slow until they learn our ways of speakif you're asking yourself this question then you should really think again about your chosen career. Teaching is not something that you do because you can't think of anything else after your degree. It's something which you should love. You need to enjoy imparting knowledge of you chosen subject, you should like being with kids and you should be energetic and enthusiastic.
Go into schools to visit and see what you think once you've done some work shadowing.ng and behavior.
Education is the mot important aspect in peoples lives. Education is becoming even more important than it's been in past.In today's society education is essential in order to be successful economically and socially. The benifits of education are boundless. As, people they start their careers in elementary school, they grow older they move onto middle school and then finally high school. I believe that from elementary school to high school, students are getting inadequate amount of education. Furthermore, education is a mandatory process because who continue their education in colleges and universities will become more experienced while increasing their chances of getting a well paid job depending on their major and good standard of living.
As a young student I believe that an education is the most valuable thing that a person can have. Therefore, I believe that teachers are the soul foundation of our society. The job of the teacher is to educate as well as nurture the students to the best of their ability. Our society as a whole is constantly growing and changing; and this has a strong influence on our education system. Thus forth my philosophy is continuously evolving and growing; and as I continue to learn more about school districts, different children, and the psychology of learning I will continue to adjust my educational philosophy as well.
As a teacher I believe that we should give our students the tools that they need to find themselves and grow as individuals. My philosophical beliefs and ideas deal with humanism. Humanism emphasizes self actualization and helps students develop morals and values. If a student is able to find themselves they will develop healthy attitudes towards themselves and others. And as an individual it is important that you know how to maintain relationships and work well with othe...
