Individual development plans is a "structured and supported process undertaken by individuals to reflect upon their own learning, performance and achievements and plan their personal lives, education and professional development." The main objective of PDP is to improve people's ability to understand what and how they learn, and to review, plan and manage their own learning. This will contribute to students:

Skills required for effective management
The task of leadership is diverse and complex. And I need the skills to perform the functions and activities associated with being a manager. I found that managers have to be three basic skills. These are technical skills, human skills and conceptual skills. Technical skills include knowledge and experience in a specialized field such as engineering, information technology, accounting and financial management, or production. These skills are more important at lower levels of management, because managers are in direct contact with employees who work in the organization. Human skills include the ability to work with others, both individually and in groups. Finally, conceptual skills are skills that should have the abstract thinking and conceptualization of the situation and complicated subject. Using these skills, I need to be able to see the organization as a whole, understanding relationships between the various sub-units and visualize how the organization fits into the wider environment. These skills are more important to manage at a high level.
Professional association for managers, practitioners, the American Management Association, described the important skills of managers are conceptual, communication, efficiency and relational aspects. They are briefly described below:

The best known method of setting goals is the way SMART. SMART approach is well known among managers, but it is not practiced.
