There are some helpful programs that are some programs on base that will help to take care of the children so that they are not required to go home on their own or to find and take care of themselves. These children are at the highest risk of becoming victims of after school violence, they also indicated that the highest amount of juvenile crimes occurs in the hour after most children are dismissed from school (www.fightcrime.org).
