ABSTRACT

Sustainable education is a significant basis of overall personality development of a person which will lead to the development of all professions. A consideration of the pertinence and adequacy of research provides keywords for all in the research community. For those of us who work in educational research where we are researching activity (e.g.in the professional world of education) these considerations are of great importance. Through the sustainable education we can seek the individual's concentration, trust, authenticity, pro-activeness, autonomy, collaboration, and experimenting to be administered on new ideas in the field of education, so as to go deep through the reflective practices in the field of leadership and challenges that they face in professionalism. The expected responses may suggest the degrading of morality, lowering interpersonal increasing level of mistrust may leads to the barriers in the way to achievement of leadership. This can be possible only by providing thrust of reinforcement and by the higher order environment. The aim of this research paper is to explain the mean how the sustainable education is used to aware the society about the democratic environment and vitality of communities and ecosystems. A leader shapes and shares a vision which gives to the work of others. Our history reflects the quality of sustainable education being acquired by eminent leaders who were true honest nation builders and outstanding educationists who made sure that our future will be bright only when sustainable education will be adopted for the budding students. The most important factor of sustainable education is teaching leadership qualities and the leaders hence build, will follow the path of leadership for attaining the sustainable education. Therefore, it is vice-versa process.

Introduction

Leadership has been described as a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.'' Good leaders are not born but the qualities to be a good leader have been instilled in them. To become an effective leader, one should have the strong desire and willpower. This guide will help you to develop good leadership qualities in you through the never ending process of education, knowledge, training, self study and experience. In order to provide an inspiration to your workers for effective and efficient leadership qualities, there are certain things you must know and do. These are acquired or inherited through hard work. Good leaders work and study continuously in order to enhance their leadership skills.There are many alternative definitions of leadership like a leader is simply as somebody whom people follow or as somebody who guides or directs others, while others define leadership as organizing a group of people to achieve a common goal. According to Drucker, "Today’s leaders must strive to create consensus if they are to realize their goals, see their visions become reality, and become effective leaders. ...I believe this to be especially true for all of us who are academic leaders”. Great leaders possess dazzling social intelligence, a zest for change, and above all, vision that allows them to set their sights on the "things" that truly merit attention. Not a bad skill set for the rest of us, either.

As said by Jim Rohn " The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude ; be kind , but bold but not bully ;be thoughtful; have humour ,but without fally. A true leader will value education and the educationists. The budding mind of the students can be channelized positively through education”.

Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training or research. Sustainable education takes place under the guidance of the experienced learners and educationists. A leader lifts the person's vision to high sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations. Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skilful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better development. The education system of our country is in the process of change. No educational reform can be successful unless the quality of teaching is improved. So sustainable education is an important vehicle to lead to the path of success. The sustainable education is achieved by leaders with top qualities. Honesty, ability to delegate, communication, sense commitment, positive attitude, creativity, Intuition, ability to inspire are the key qualities that every leader possess. Whatever ethical plane you hold yourself to, when you are responsible for a team of people its important to raise the bar even higher. Your business and its employees is the mirror image of you and it depends on you whether you make honesty as a key value or not in order to allow your team to develop an ethical sense. This will not only prove to your education department that you have full faith in them but will also allow you to focus on the high level tasks. Training budding teacher and creating a productive work environment all depends on healthy lines of communication. Being able to clearly and succinctly describe what you want to do. If you can't relate your views, You won't be able to achieve the goal you desire. Morale is linked to productivity and it is the job of educational leader to instill a positive vibrant energy and to encourage your team to laugh at the mistakes instead of weeping. If you are constantly learning to find the humor in the struggles, Your work environment will become a happy and healthy spacewhere your co-educationists look forward to work, rather than dreading it. As a leader, by staying calm and confident, will help the team to develop an aesthetic sense towards work. Also the leader will achieve his key objective, i.e., to keep everyone working and to help them to move ahead.If one expects his team to work hard and provide the quality content, you need to lead by example. By providing your commitment to your role you will not only earn the respect of your team but will also instill that same hard working energy among your staff. After gaining the respect of your team, they will provide you with high quality work. To keep your team motivated towards their success, keep their energy level up. If your team has the zeal to work, then they won’t mind to take the extra time to complete the work. At times you need to deviate from your present course and try to take the fly decisions. And by this, your creativity will be proven as a vital source. During critictical situations, your team will demand sufficient guidance which will enable you to take an instant decision. To become an effective leader, it's important to learn to think outside the box and to choose the best option between the two bad choices.Leaders that make effective use of relationship, empathy and problem solving behaviours, are likely to have both a better understanding of what is need of the hour and to communicate information effectively. Emotional intelligence is required to combat the dynamism and for sustainable growth. Emotional intelligence show higher co-relation with possession of skills and abilities associated with leadership excellence. To become a great leader, one should possess the right skills and values. Leaders are made not born and that young people can learn and develop leadership attitudes and skills. Even, Fertman and Van Linden, Zeldin and Camino outline five areas of competency that distinguish leaders and shape youth leadership development efforts. Communication: Persuasive argumentation, Public speaking/writing and engaging the participation of others Teamwork: Respecting others, performing roles of both leader and follower, building on strengths, and commitment to free group input and expression. Personal Identity: Understanding the relationship between oneself and community, pride in being a member of a larger group, awareness of areas for self-improvement, taking responsibility for one's actions and the resulting consequences. Professionalism: Demonstrating tactfulness, understanding protocols, appropriate dress and action given appraisal of context, delivering quality work positively presenting oneself to others. Project management: Setting goals /developing action steps, meeting facilitation, reflection, distinguishing between one's interests and community needs. As a leader one's most important objective is to do your task in a successful manner. One must succeed both as an individual function and as a team. The objective of a leader must be to inspire the teachers, educationists, co-workers to pull together towards shared set goals. To attain this objective one must acquire certain leadership skills. Leadership roles are all around us, not just in a work environment, and although these pages focus on leadership skills from the perspective of working in an organization, the skills can be applied to any situation where you are required to take the lead. Decision Making: 'Decision Making is the act of choosing between two or more courses of action. There may not always be a 'correct' decision among the available choices. There may have been a better choice that had not been considered, or the right information may not have been available at the time. Understanding the needs and characteristics of the post: A leader should have adequate knowledge about the needs and characteristics of each individual of the team and his post. This helps to deal with each person as an individual, to treat that individual with respect and to help the person grow and moreover this understanding helps in planning the programmed and in getting things done. Knowing and using the resources of the group: Resources involves all those things which are required to do a job which includes people, as they possess skills and knowledge. The leader should know all the resources available and their involvement to get a job done. Planning: Without planning, one cannot explore. So in order to lead the team, you should plan accordingly. The process of planning includes the underlined points-

Controlling group performance: Leader should take into account the group performance and the control or methods of regulating it. When working with post participant do the following-

Evaluating: Evaluation is an important tool in measuring the group performance for accomplishing their goal of getting a job done. Evaluation suggests a number of ways by which the performance of the group can be encouraged.Setting the example: It is the most important leadership skill, to acquaint others with the proper way of conduct, and without this skill, all the other skills will go in vain.Sharing leadership: Sharing leadership means to admire the views and thoughts of others instead of showing the dominating behaviour of his or her. Counselling: Counselling is essential need to help solve problems, to encourage, to reassure, to help the explorer to reach his or her potential. Effective teaching: Effective teaching is done to enhance the knowledge, skills and habits of the group and its individuals.

Representing the Group: Leaders represent the group in post committee meetings, Advisors meetings, officers' meetings, and planning conferences, and to the participating organisation.

Self awareness: A leader should be aware about his competencies and abilities as by knowing it he can enhance his leadership qualities.

Self regulation: A leader must regulate his code of conduct so as o provide a healthy atmosphere to his team and its participants.

Empathy: A person having a morale sense to treat others with respect and adore them for their achievements, i.e., having a friendly, healthy or positive attitude, possess the quality of being a great leader.

Leadership for sustainable education:Lead Leaders of today’s time are not playing their estimated role in the accomplishment of the sustainable education as the values and the skills which were discussed above are lacking. So in order to make the sustainable education a success, leaders should be chosen wisely who have the ability of turning their team as successful leaders and who possess the skills and values which turn them into renowned great leaders who brings about a positive revolution in today’s system of education.

Conclusion: It is a kind of misconception that youth is happy, but the young know they are wretched with full of truth less ideals which have been incorporated into them. And when each time they come into contact with the real world, they are wounded. It looks like they were victims of a conspiracy; and because of the conversation of their elders, who look back into past through a rosy haze of forgetfulness, and prepare them for an unreal or fake life. So a practicality is needed in the field of education that covers all the needs of the youth and provides sustainable education through eminent educationists that leads to the formation of a true leader. Hence a magnanimous leader who will ensure that crediat for successes should be given to the educationists who achieved the aim of sustainable education by providing a unique exchange and learning opportunities among students will actually pave the path of success for others and build the future of the nation.
