5.2 NILAM Program
'NILAM' or Nadi Reading Practice Knowledge is the combination or blending all reading activities ever conducted in schools by giving appropriate recognition. Implementation of this program will include ongoing assessment reading scores collected throughout the year and cumulatively until they complete their schooling. This program is an effort by the Ministry of Education with the aim to build the reading habit among students. Educational Technology Division is the secretariat of the Ministry of Education assigned to coordinate this program. This program has been implemented with Year One, Form One primary and secondary schools or transition officially in 1999, through professional circulars Bil.13/1998 Ministry of Education: Reading Habits Building Program dated May 22, 1998.
5.3 Curriculum Day

Students are given consolation prizes and certificates.Activities designed can be run as scheduled and it has been well managed by the teacher in charge. 5.5 Sports Day
On 17 October, SK Sungai Rapat held the annual Sports Day. The annual sports day was held in the vast field school.The objective of the sport is to meet the Philosophy of Education of talent and healthy body. Many sporting competition were held such as high jump, long jump, running races, tug of war and relay and many more. The school field was decorated with banners and colourful ballons. The contestants confronted with the practice of sports participants vigorously every day. The event were entertained by events such as band performances, chinese yoyo, dance and other nteresting performances. The sporting events ended at 12.00 pm Red hari.Rumah Merah has emerged as overall winner.Kit Seng and Siti Fatimah wee selected as the school athlete.

As such, teachers should embrace and undertake Philosophy of Education to ensure that the Government and educational goals are achieved.
