Counselling is a process that uses to support people by understanding and resolving the problems occurred. In an Organization it helps to increase the chance in performance while it becomes an advantage to personal development of the individuals.

When consider about counselling we can illustrate that there are two main approaches which use to resolve the matters. In some cases the counsellor resolves the problem by giving all the necessary guidelines which know as direct counselling. But in indirect counselling the answers can be generated from the counselee by the guidance of the counsellor. However the final outcomes of both approaches are solve the personal problem and improve the attitude and behaviour of the individual.

"Mentoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be." (1) It clear that in an organisation, mentoring is necessary to understand the role of the individual from the higher hierarchy. In the process of mentoring the senior always passes the responsibilities and experience to the junior to develop their skills and improve the performance.

The main difference between counselling and mentoring is that the counselling is mainly focus to develop the personal skills and the attitudes of the character while mentoring develop the professional skills.

Eg: Counselling desire to expand the personal ability by using the emotional approach but in mentoring it expands the productivity of the character by identifying the capabilities of the person.

In addition, the counselling always focus on the personal matter and the process always carry in a private session between the counsellor and the counselee but the mentoring can be done either a private or as a focus group because mentoring is use to achieve a better goals in an organisation. As the team participation can be an advantage for the process of mentoring.

Mentoring is mainly focus on a goal that needs to accomplish by the organisation to increase the productivity but in counselling there is no particular goal and it always depend on the individual's feelings and the moment. It's clear that mentoring is doing to increase the productivity of the organization therefore each organisation has different goal to achieve by its staff to accomplish this target therefore, mentoring should always conduct to achieve these targets. But in counselling it basically tries to understand the feelings of the individual to improve the personal skills and the attitudes. Therefore, it's clear that counselling cannot have any goals as it depends on each character.

As counselling mainly focus on the feeling or the emotions of the individuals therefore, resources can be limited and the methods can be different for each individual but in mentoring there will be number of methods and techniques for a group of people.

Counselling should done by professionally trained personal but mentoring can be done by an experienced superior person because in counselling it always focus the emotional side of the person therefore, it should be handle in away that not damage to the personality. But in mentoring it focus the potential ability of the individual toward to organisation therefore it can be done by an experienced person.

However in both Counselling and Mentoring is focus to gain the optimistic performance of the individual and helps to develop the personal capabilities , attitudes and maturity in both individual and the company.

By achieving all above mentioned skills an individual and achieve this goal.

Time managing is an art of arranging, organizing, scheduling and budgeting one's time for the purpose of generating more effective work in productivity. Time management is more important for everybody.

In an organisation the time management is more important from top of the hierarchy to the bottom.

Time management helps to increase the productivity in an organization. It saves staff turnover and increase the output. As an example in a chain of process if there is an delay in one point it'll affect the final product completion time and to the point before to the delay and slow the production speed. Therefore, proper time management help to gain more productivity in a particular time.

This will be a good advantage to a better product, because less stress of individual make them to focus on a particular task and it can be easily completed with high accuracy.

According to Honey Mumford Learning styles strong effective learning styles are theorist and pragmatist. By practising activities develops their abilities in this learning style, Pragmatist develops the skills by practising like activist. Theorist is identified as low. So by practising the activities theorist can increase their learning ability, Reflector is identified as very low. So reflectors should adjust more activities to improve their learning.

At present following post graduate diploma in business studies at Edexcel through London school of management and science which is leading to Master of Business administration programme in Glyndwr University.

At present I am working as a Duty manager at Co-operative group. Co-op is a one of the largest retail company in UK as well as biggest farmers.
