Festival is extremely important for every country. In the World, many countries have many festivals. Festival is an event, generally and normally staged by a local group of people, which centers on and rejoice a few unique aspects of that group of people and the Festival. Among lots of religions, a feast is a set of celebrations in respect of God or spirit. A feast and a festival are in history exchangeable. Though, the term "feast" has too entered regular secular idiom as a synonym for any large or elaborate food. 2 - Various festivals in Algeria and Ukraine

There are lot of festival in Algeria and Ukraine. Some of nationwide, some of cultural, some of regional and so on.

Some festivals of Algerian are: Independence Day (1962), Eid-ul-Fitr - The end of Ramadan on the 1st of Shawwal, Eid-ul-Adha - The 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja and many more.

Some of Ukrainian festivals are: New Year's Day, Victory Day-(May, 9), Christmas, Labour Day etc.

3.1-Eid-ul-Fitr festival:

4.1- Eid-ul-Fitr celebration in Algeria:

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated in a party sense with society and unity gestures with the population of Algiers. 4.1.2- Foods:

The usual food of the Algerian has always been rice, fish, and meat. Seafood has been the support of the Algerian diet for centuries. Meat and rice are other staple foods; lamb and mutton are the more special meats, after that goat and lastly beef. Popular beverages are coffee and tea, which can be supplemented with cardamom, saffron, or mint to give them a different taste.

4.2- Christmas celebration in Ukraine

4.2.1- Etymology:

Commencing the over discussion, Eid-ul-Fitr in Algeria and Christmas in Ukraine is observed every year with huge interest. The similarity is the celebrations of these festivals are both Algerian and Ukrainian do almost same kind activities to observe their respective festivals, people wear new clothes, they sing, dance, and eat different kinds of yummy foods. One small variation is Ukrainian don't arrange this festival in efficiently but, Algerian arrange processions and parades on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Finally, it can be said that Algeria and Ukraine may possibly have dissimilar kind of civilization and belief, but there is not much dissimilarity in the way they celebrate their respective festivals in general.
