Question 2

What is happiness? What constitutes happiness for one and not for another?

What is the real meaning of happiness? What do we mean by this term and how do we attain it? Actually, true happiness is comes from knowing what make us become happy. Happiness can be attained in many ways, such like love, continuous creative activity, virtuous living and so on. Besides that, happiness is the satisfaction of all our own desires, example like: extensive in regard to their multiplicity, protensive in regard to their duration, and intensive in regard to their degree. Happiness cannot be reduced to a few agreeable sensations. Rather it is a method of being and of experiencing the world such like a profound fulfillment that suffuses every moment and endures despite inevitable setbacks. Other than that, happiness is something we create now and is not something that comes to us. Waiting for something to change in order to be happy is waiting to live our life. It is how we react to what happens to us and it is not what happens for us to counts. It is also our own attitude. When we adopt a positive attitude, our life will become a rewarding adventure instead of something to get through. In additional, the paths we take in search of happiness always lead us to frustration and suffering instead. We try to create outer conditions that we believe will make us become more and more happy, but it is the mind itself that translates outer conditions into happiness or suffering. This is because why we can be deeply unhappy even we 'have it all', such as wealth, health, a good family or friend and power. Conversely, we can remain strong and serene in the face of hardship. Moreover, a lot of people are fail to understand that happiness is and would often remain an ephemeral phrase in life. It is bliss; a feeling of contentment that comes from within. That is real happiness.

Answer of Question 2

What is the purpose of our life? Is comparable to what is the most important thing to us? When asking five people about this question, four out of five people will give the same answer. It is become happy, because happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. Happiness is also an enduring positive psychological stage of mind. Therefore, all human being in this world are desire to become happy, even is kid or adult.

To define happiness in five paragraphs or less than five may seem like an exercise in philosophical futility, but the attempt could bring many people some personal satisfaction, which in turn could generate a sense of happiness. That's why we get at the complex emotional state known as true happiness. A few of small positive events or accomplishments accumulate to provide a sense of contentment or self - satisfaction, which we interpret as personal happiness. For many people, happiness is a state of mind rather than a specific response or emotion to positive outside forces.

Happiness can mean different things to different person. Example like, for one person it may mean being in a relationship whereas for someone else it may mean feeling we have the ability to handle whatever life throws at us. While we might think that there are certain things that make us become happy or could make us happy if we had them, research has shown that there are certain common traits amongst happy person and it is not necessarily what we might have thought.

Besides that, usually we might think happy people are plain lucky and are born that way. Or, we might also think that happy people have a good job, have a lot of money, are physically attractive, have their own family and live with happy, or own the latest gadgets. However, there are some variables that make a far greater contribution to happiness than external and superficial factors. That does not mean that having a lot of money is not good, it just means that other factors are more important in determining happiness. What distinguishes happy people from the unhappy? It is own attitude. They have a different method of doing things and thinking things. They interpret the world in a different way, and go about their lives in a different way.

Other than that, happiness is also a matter of experience, and it is not of demonstration or speech. It can be had only by being introvert, cutting ourselves from all the non - self entities and being one with our soul itself. Since the soul is full of happiness. In the same manner one cannot get real happiness without the experience of the soul. Happiness is not to be had from somewhere else, for the soul is itself made of this happiness, is nothing but happiness alone. That which is happiness incarnate has not to find happiness anywhere else. Happiness is to be enjoyed and to be experienced. It is not necessary to torment ourselves for getting happiness.

Moreover, for some of us, happiness can be derived from having our material or our needs. Many people say that, money cannot buy happiness, but in reality it can come very close. Realizing that our needs and even a few personal desires will be met can be very reassuring, which in turn generates feelings of security and happiness. In the same sense, a lot of people find happiness after hearing a life - affirming spiritual message or spending time in deep reflection or meditation. Happiness could mean a sense of harmony between mind, spirit and body.

Being happy is means that we have decided to look beyond the imperfections, and does not mean that everything is perfect and good. Normally, the most common misconception of happiness is that everything has to be perfect but the persons who achieve happiness are the ones who live imperfect lives. If happiness defined as perfection, then it would be happy; because life does not provide perfection for the people. Life is provides us goals and challenges and hardships but it is reaching beyond these and stabilizing our lives with them that proves we can look past the imperfections and still be happy.

If we hope that we become happy, we have to be less involved in our own happiness and more involved in the happiness of other beings. Make others people happy and we become happy as a result. Involve ourselves totally, throw ourselves into what we are doing in life and happiness will be result. If we are compromising, such like doing something that we are do not like as a means to an end so that good will result one fine day. Now, we must do that what we love and let that grow until it fills our life. Then happiness will be us, and we will be better able to bring happiness to the world.

Furthermore, happiness and unhappiness are antonym and as a judgement about our situation. If we judge a situation as good for us, that is happiness. If we judge our situation as bad, that is unhappiness. Except antonym, there is a word synonym with happiness, which is pleasure. Happiness is not pleasure although they can appear similar. Pleasure is enjoyment of our outside stimuli. We can find pleasure in going shopping, going on vacation or meets friends. Pleasure requires of external stimuli for us to experience it, and happiness is a belief about ourselves and the outside world. Totally, pleasure is born from the external world, while happiness is born from the internal workings of our own minds.

Nowadays, all people in this world are desire to become happy, even is young or old people. All people want their life to have meaning and purpose. Besides that, in our daily life we constantly experience happiness and unhappiness, but we are still quite ignorant as to what happiness really is. Happiness is not a life without problems, but rather the strength to overcome the problems that come our way. Other than that, true happiness is to be found within it, it is in the state of our heart. It does not exist on the far side of some distant mountains. It is within us, ourselves. However much we try, we can never run away from ourselves. If we are weak, suffering will follow us wherever we go. We will never find happiness if we do not challenge our weaknesses and change ourselves inside it. At last, happiness is at once the best and noblest and pleasantest thing in the world. Therefore, we must happy every day and enjoy our life every time.
