Al-Qaida is a worldwide militant islamist organization established by Osama bin Laden, at midst of August 1988 to late 1989. The origin of this organization was first traced during Soviet War in Afghanistan. This functions as a network constituting of both the national, multinational, stateless army and a rendering Sunni Muslim campaign involving a global jihad and a rigorous version of sharia law. The UNSC (United Nations security council), NATO, and the European Union, and other countries of the world indicated this organization as terrorist organization which would be threat to whole world. In the past it had executed several attacks even on the non-Muslims and also target Islam organizations which it considers as Kafir.

It has assaulted many civilian and military organizations in various parts of world. The most dangerous of all, was the attack of 9/11 which have killed lots of innocent people. It's others attack includes US embassy bombardments in 1998, Bali bombardments in 2002. After the 9/11 attack US government have launched a war against the terrorism. The main target countries were Afghanistan the home country of Osama (main leader of Al-Qaida group) and Iraq (Sadaam Hussain having links with Al-Qaida). With the loss of Osama bin Laden and other important leaders of the Al-Qaida, its activities got dropped from actions as it was mainly controlled by top leaders of Al-Qaida. As per the post of Lisa Merriam, a consultant, with the death of key important leaders like Anwar al-Awlaki, image of Al-Qaida as a global terrorist organization and its inspiration to kill to human life has been sharply declined.
