The key goal of this report is to give more emphasis to develop the 'Better Builds' business's sustainability through the encountered significant issues of energy consumption and increase of Carbon emission that had already been identified through the first report.

As responsibility at the heart of 'Better Builds' business, it is important to operate in a truly sustainable environment by implementing Carbon Care programmes across the organization. Effectively incorporating sustainability in to the corporate culture requires concern on the economic, environmental and social-cultural components. By establishing a basic Carbon footprint in the organization will helps to demonstrate the commitment to reduce Carbon emission to clients, customers and employees. The tactics we can employ to increase sustainable and energy saving practice in the business includes the following:

Providing significant investment in the training to our employees can achieve the full potential and will give a good control over reduction of energy consumption and increase of recycling of waste. This holistic approach to manage social, ethical and environmental risks provides assurance to our stakeholders and will add more value to the business and will enhance the trust kept on us in future. By building up our sustainable infrastructure will give further benefits to boost our stakeholders:

As a part of their duty this team will helps to make sure that the targets are met and everyone is playing their role in the campaign. In this team each person should have a specific area to be looked after and have to communicate and bring the importance of this energy management to all employees in the organization. They have to involve in checking meter readings, energy bills in day to day level to understand the energy costs which affects the business. First of all the energy team should collect the data to understand the energy consumption level of the building by following the below steps.

Monitoring the energy usage and material waste will provide data for us to understand where much energy or waste is been used with in the organization and to get a better idea of the fluctuation of existing energy pattern throughout a certain period (month/year). The current consumption of electricity, water, fuel, renewables must be recorded and then by analysing the overall usage will helps guide us how and which areas to be managed. By collecting the data such as, reading meters, delivery chits for fuel, toners/cartridges, other related invoice checking, water usage and food waste can determine whether the current consumption is lower or higher than the usual and also where the benchmarks are available and to compare our industry average too.

To have a fresh view of the energy use in the organization we can carryout a physical inspection (walk round) to spot out any obvious areas of waste and design a workable solution. By taking an inventory or check list to record information about equipments relates to heating, lighting, water, office equipments, and by conducting an energy use assessment where highlights employees poor habits & actions to be taken among the staff will guide us to develop an effective cost & Carbon saving action plan.

Obtaining maximum value for its expenditure and work towards obtaining the best use is the smartest way to make the benefit from waste. Managing waste is an approach to serving human needs by using/reusing recourses most productively and sustainably throughout their life cycle generally minimizing the amount of material involved & associated environmental impact. By establishing policies and procedures that will reduce waste generation (4R's) first through reduction, second through repair, third through reuse and finally through recycling the company can give a meaningful signal to the stakeholders, corporate policies, cost savings as well as to the environment.
