To improve the customer service and ability of the companies GPS technology has been followed. By using this technology companies can use how to develop? It can be used every place I.e. from coal mine to large banking firms.

The j2me technology which it allows the application to install in any mobile device easily at the average price level which it integrates JVM and other necessary applications software interfaces .which it supports to java mobile application for usage of GPS navigation

In GPS navigation one of the major problem exists that is insufficient accuracy to overcome this problem that is improvement in accurate accuracy DGPS (differential GPS) is achieved but it does not supports for military usage .from this alternatively AGPS is achieved which it gives better output when GPS signal strength is low .in most applications that is mobile terminals there is built in GPS receiver which supports AGPS.

Where as j2me applications provides easy environment, robust features for running an application in a mobile phones. Which it consists of built in network and support offline application and networked. Where application can easily downloaded j2me application are adapted in many devices.

J2me applications consists of three main parts concepts that is configuration, profile and optional package.

Where all these devices can be programmed by utilizing MIDP (mobile information device profile) which it consists of set java applications .complete java run time is provided by connected limited device configuration.

The java run time environment completely consist of a java virtual machine to run the application java byte code ,original code which interface to the underlying system and java core run time classes .API'S (application program interface )is consists of optional package that which supports common application that does not belongs to real application.

I have started my literature survey about the GPS (global positioning system) through various library learning sources data bases such as inst of science and engineering technology, department of science .I searched some sources in internet. Then next I expanded from search like esearch,ejournals ,meta search, Google scholars ,and some e-books which are most important and provides me useful information .

With the help quotation I searched a lot material in science directory and EMERALD which the materials are relevant to literature survey topic. Next I searched lot of information regarding ejournals which are very familiar to my topic and then I pointed out main topics from the material, provided useful information to my topic.

Furthermore I used dangerous Google, advance google,pdf to search the related information has been obtained, online search engines number of eBooks. This information which I obtained is less compared to above mentioned engines.

Some websites which I utilized are not properly referenced and authors are not there .but it contains some useful information and directly it contains technical information. But it doest not give complete over view and in depth knowledge to me.

Some abstracts are available in the library learning resources I have searched the abstracts which are available in the resources. Which it contains some use full information to me to access through the abstract and utilized the information.
