A micro computer is a computer that relies on a micro processor it has a CPU -
Central processing unit -the CPU is where the calculations that needed to be done is done and is the most important element of the computer.
It also contains rom -read only memory which is data that is pre-recorded on the chip and can read but not changed.
Ram -random access memory it is a storage that van be accessed when ever micro computers mainly use dram even though sram doesn't need to be refreshed where as dram needs to be refreshed thousands of times every second plus dram supports access times of 60 nanoseconds where as sram can support access times of 10 nanoseconds this is due to sram being extremely expensive.
But despite both of the rams difference both rams loose there data when it is turned off this is know as violate.
The micro computer also contains” buses” these buses are a collection of wires that transport information from one part of the computer to another it also connects all the computer components to the cpu a bus is made up of two parts an address bus and data bus.
The data bus transports actual data where the address bus transports where it's supposed to be.

On micro computers they used to use isa buses but now it is being exchanged with the faster pci Peripheral Component Interconnect buses. Because many modern graphics cards have as many transistors and small parts that heat up easily many graphics card are now equipped with heat sinks or fans to keep them cool.
A graphics card main purpose is to turn binary data sent from the cpu to pixels on your screen to make an image that u can see on your monitor graphics cards memory also depicts how fast it shall work and in some cases the graphics card can be over clocked to produce faster smoother and better quality renders of what you do the fastest affordable graphics cards today can run up to 850 MHz/mega hertz this is an essential aspect in today's gaming pcs as gaming titles continue to push graphical boundaries the power for this must be there to support such graphical pleats with the introduction of cross fire graphics card where a mother board can support up to 2 graphics cards or more in some cases 4 graphics cards the western pursuit of realism of textures and renders in a game becomes more and more demanding .
This is also very apparent with the other aspects of the pc i.e. the cpu now being duo or quad core instead of being single core also that now they can handle up to 3.6 and over as said before the pursuit of realism and the competition to make those graphics revolutionary push's the hardware sides to whole new levels this also stimulates the amount you can store now as game file installation become bigger and bigger a vast amount of storage capability is now available people can now quite easily get 1 terra bites worth of storage at cheap affordable prices thanks to this rapid shift in technology thing that were extremely expensive and wasn't available in a pc now is the standard has be changed and raised which makes it easier for a person to make a custom gaming pc on the budget.
Optical drives have only really changed in drive speed as most games are now written/burned on a DVD so the increased speed in optical drive means the faster it can read a disc the faster you can get the game installed on the pc also even though now most companies don't rely on the disc to play the game it would lessen the time of loading as it is able to read the data faster than normal.
Sound modules have had to advance just as quickly as the others from using mono tones to stereo to digital and now HD sound also Dolby surround sound as games has evolved the music and sound play a vital role in the emotion and feel for a game it can make a scene feel a whole lot more real as if you were there sound card have had to evolve so it can handle multiple audio files at once so you get the full effect of the game I .e the depth of bass when a bomb drops or she sharp swoosh sound of a bullet flying past your ear also with Dolby digital it also allows you to create a 360 n3 dimensional illusion having the speakers set up properly and a sound card that support Dolby digital 5.1 or higher you can make it so you can identify where your enemy is jus by listening to the gun fire.
A micro computer would also consist of a hard drive you can have many types from the new shockproof hard drives which can be dropped or be in a situation and still function to the more generic internal hard drives of today's computers which run just as well but are extremely fragile.
A hard drive gives the computer the ability to store information even when the power is off.
It uses magnetic recording to store the data it uses a magnetic disc made of glass or aluminium the files are written over the disc so the files or information never really touch's the disc.
The newiest hard drive uses SATA II Serial Advanced Technology Attachment this is a computer bus that allows interaction and transportation of data from the mass disc storage unit and its optical drives to the CPU.
Some computers have optical drives they transfer data and read data by using laser or electromagnetic waves that are near the light spectrum.
In today's computers it is common to have this peripheral device. Before you would have a similar device that could only read or right not both were as today you have optical drives that can do both efficiently these optical de3ives can be other wise known as CD rom drives or burners or writers.
Sound cards also known as audio cards is a circuit board houses the input and output signals from the cpu it also houses external peripheral connection sockets i.e. headphones and microphone jacks to USB plug and play speakers which allow you to hear what you are doing i.e. watching movie or playing a game on the pc.
As computers use many parts that heat up to very high levels you a microcomputer has a dedicated fan that helps to keep the computers internal chips and circuit board cool so they don't burn out due to overheating this also allows the components of the computer to work with in safe operating levels.
It does this by exchanging the internal heated air with the ambient cooler air.
Most cases of heating up is due to dust insulating the air flow and blocking the air from exchanging this often results in lower lifespan for the circuit board and it more regularly freezing.

Which I was tempted to choose was this but I feel overall in performance the Samsung is better as its transfer rates are200 mbps faster and seeking time is 8.9 mili seconds to the seagates 11 mili seconds also this hard drive is more expensive than the Samsung s I am making a cpu more to a students budget I will choose the Samsung other wise I would choose the Seagate because of its protection against handling and dependability because of its fewer moving parts.

For my graphics card I was going to choose 2 Gecube HD 3870X2 1GB Dual GPU PCI-E Power Gamer Edition Graphics Cards it posses more than adequate power to play the most demanding of pc games and quite easily handle working with Maya and 3d studio max.

As it receives a life time warranty fro ebuyer is 800 MHz speed and is ddr2ram 2 GB form 4 pieces for 8 GB worth of ram.
Asus Striker II Formula 780i Socket 775 Motherboard this motherboard works best with NVIDIA technology but I prefer ATI graphics card as it is competitor graphics cards made by NVIDIA are slower and more expensive but the main reason I chose this motherboard is because it works best with my processor.
Also in its array of features it can support up to Dual Gigabit LAN, both featuring AI NET2 Support Teaming Technology this is essential as it must be able to support LAN gaming
As well as many other features which makes it a motherboard that quite easily shine s above the rest.

Finally I shall get Ethernet cable adaptors so I can get broadband internet access I would go with sky broad band as I have there internet service and it contuse to stay at a fast reliable rate and for me I have never experienced lag with that internet provider and for all hardcore gamers lag is the most annoying irritating part of gaming <being killed by some n00balso I would use Symantec's original anti virus system <not Norton!> it is the most secure fastest and reliable anti virus software I have used to date.
