The Database Project I've chosen is Automotive Sales System. This project is going to be the best database of this arena considering the business of new released automotives.

This system is going to be used by the multi car dealers who don't work with only one company. It's going to represent all the latest cars of this year and all the features which the customers will like to check out will be added there. The dealers can also add this system on their website which is going to lessen the needs of advertising. From the website the customers can very easily find out all details of the automotive they want to buy. The system can be used as one of best features of the dealing company!

It's going to make an inter linking between same kind of vehicles of all companies. Customers just can use a search option to find out his favourite kind of vehicle among the models of all companies.

Customers always want to see the whole details of the vehicles, such as the key features, mileage, Tank capacity, Driving mood, price etc. This database is going to show all those in the same page.

In this database the keywords such as the key features will use easy words. The reason behind this is most of the times customers can't understand a lot of words that are used on the advertisement for the vehicles. Those are hard technical words. This database will represent the words that all the customers can easily understand.

So, As I have said earlier this database is going to work as the coordinator of all the leading automotive companies. Current problems & solutions

With the current system customers often are caught by some confusing problems such as,

Understandably the sites of vehicle dealer will be fascinating. Most of them use flash applications and to show those apps the PCs should be updated. That's why sometimes customers can't see all the details of the site and sometimes the browser gets hung too. With my database system this problem can be solved. The site just needs to show an external link to this database system and that will take the customers directly to the system.

Most of the dealer sites don't show the options of different engines with different horsepower on their site to hide the price variation and customers get confused by this. This database is going to show all the possible options of engines for the individual vehicle. This will obviously remove the customer's confusion.

If we summarise all the problems that the current system has the word we can come up with is complex! This database system is going to remove the complexness with simplicity and details.

Main Reasons

Personally I like to know about engines, automotive bodies and all the stuffs about latest cars. I thought creating this system will let me know all the cool facts of the new cars and I will also enjoy doing this study project which is really what we need most to do this kind of projects.

So, these are the tools and techniques that I have used in my database.

This is all. This database is as I have said the combination of all other databases on this sector. And that's why it's going to be the most efficient one. I've used easy operators everywhere, on the titles, tabs in everything so that the customers don't fall in any confusion or misunderstand anything. Overall, it's an easy going database with two complex queries. But those are well build. So, there shouldn't be any problem maintain the database by any operator. The forms are moderate and on mainstream view. I won't say that the database is different in its view but its different in its growth!
