Social network media can be identified as time wasting of working hours of total employees in the organization. Because early in the morning most of employees are hanging on face book e-mails, chatting with friends and waste working hours unnecessarily. They chat and use face book as a means of entertainment not as a ways and means to improve the office work. Lot of employees are addicted for the face book and chatting and hence they don't know how to control time.

Employees use social media to harass co-workers and criticize the company, its clients, reveal confidential information, endorse products or service without proper disclosure

Youths can be vulnerable to the practice of cyber-bullying in which the perpetrators, anonymously or even posing as people their victims trust, terrorize individuals in front of their peers.(Chron, Brian Jung,2012). In same chron web site says Many people use several marketing tactics to get the attention of clients. One of those technique is social networking sites. They are developed to instantly communicate with clients. Not like earlier social networking sites are very popular among young generation. Though there are many advantages there are disadvantages as well. It distracts employees and they are more interested on what their friends posted and neglect their duties at work. This has been a major threat to British companies and it reduces a 1.5% off office productivity and lost over 2.2 billion a year. Therefore there are some countries and offices banned using social networking sites and also blocked them from their territory..(Chron, Brian Jung,2012).

Using social network in workplace mainly biggest problem is that reduced employee productivity , because in workplace some people spend more hours using this and looking for long lost friends and updating status and upload photos and playing games on such sites so while the work day slip away because drop their task to attend to something else .

The increased risk in a company using social network can decrease productivity and cost the company a large amount of money, from dollars spent in defending against lawsuits and possible revenue lost due to damage to the reputation of the company.
