If the manufacturing firm is facing the problem of high absenteeism ant low productivity then firstly management should find out the root cause of the problem to improve the organizational climate.

It is very important for the management to know the key problem of the employees for the high absenteeism and low productivity even when they are getting fringe benefits and liberal policies. Best tool for finding root cause in the firm is the organizational audit. The audit uses in-depth interviews, surveys, feedback, and analysis to reveal why there are blockages and what to do about them.

Communication between manager and his employees is fundamental to the operation of all business. Manager who fails to communicate with his employees automatically creates the environment of uncertainty and indecisiveness in the workplace.

Counseling of employees should be done on a regular basis so that problem can be deducted on early stages and can be solved on initial stages. As in the firm fringe benefits are provided to employees even after than there is a high absenteeism this needs to be counseled.

MEETINGS WITH UNION WORKER:- it is important for the management to communicate or have a contact with unions so that they are aware with the employees and worker needs and requirement. There has to be a reason for high absenteeism in the organization, which needs to be solved by the management.

SOCIALISATION: - By socialization management can find out the root cause of the problem between the employees. Even by doing socialization management can develop a better relation with the workers. Manager can help the workers to know culture of the organisation.
