For me this is some document which you are preparing for yourself based on the clear idea of that what you want from your future growing and developing and your career. The essential aim of the personal development plan is to provide a clear idea of the objectives you're pursuing in your personal development and progress. It also need to outline the time schedule of each objective and most of all objective priority structuring. The personal development plan is very useful as it amounts to a personal development scheme with definitely set time specifications you seek to comply with. It needs ,however, to be prepared most accurately and in accordance with the time available to you. The objectives you set yourself in the plan must be feasible in terms of time and abilities. Otherwise ,if you set yourself exceptionally high "unrealistic „objectives ,there will arrive time where the objectives will remain unfulfilled and the personal development plan proves a useless exercise. If you manage to put together and accomplish your personal development plan then you will certainly be able to be a good line manager and a good work-time planner.

My main duties and responsibilities are to check the intake production(soft fruits) for the quality ,

put labels on any of them with my decision so my colleagues from out loading will know how to proceed with them after they take them from the fridge and start pack them on the line because every single pallet is different and with different quality that's why i have to be very careful i am checking the fruits and taking the decision what kind of label to put on the pallet because my decision dictate haw we are going to proceed with the fruits , so that's why i have to give my best to check the fruits properly every single time and to concentrate on my job .For that i have to know all the specifications for every single punned which we are sending with fruits for and i have to follow this specifications if i want to have my job done properly and good relationship with my boss and other people which i am working with.

List your current specific goals, SMART objectives and targets -

To graduate from the college i am attending ,because i want to learn how to be good first line manager by and develop myself in better way and build some good work position opportunities .By 15 of October 2010y i will get that done ,with very hard studying and concentrate on my future goals ,and targets.

Prove my English skills ,because is easy to build relationships and talk to the other and i will feel much more better at the work place and will give you the option to develop your self everywhere you want to .That need to be done until 20 of February 2011.

Get courses about quality control .This is very important for me because i want to execute everything in small detail about the quality control and what is the key for that job to be done properly. I would like to do this by the 15 may 2011.

The next important objective for me that is to get classes about food hygiene because the quality of the product is very important but the quality of the hygiene in the work process and in the work place is also that important and you need to build some strong rules to execute your responsibilities and duty .For me they are connect so that's why i want to do that classes and execute my job satisfying .I will get the classes don until 1 of July 2011.

The next objective which is very important is the Health and Safety at the work place because is very important to know how to work health and safety so that's why this is the last objective but not by importance which i want to get done until 15 of august 2010 .That is important for me because you need to build some safety way to do your job properly and on time but without getting any risk for yourself or put somebody else at risk of dangerous .That is my objectives and goals which i want and the targets which i am shooting in ,and i will give my best to get them done and to be good Quality Manager one day.

Where possible explain how the personal objectives stated above link to the organizational objectives of you work placement. If there are no, or very few links review your personal objectives.

The most important thing for my personal objectives is- Separating the pallets that i am checking to be separated by stores which they are going to just because every single store has some different specification for checking so will be much more easy for me and the girls to know every pallet for which store is and what-to do with the fruits on the line(if they are going for straight labeling or they need to be sort) and the boys which bringing the pallets will know also where to looking for the pallets they need.

To have meetings at least once at week to discuss what kind of fruits we have , where for ,if they are enough to finish the orders ,if any thing from the specifications get change and all the process of work.

To have some Electronic Board with all the targets and objectives for the day because we are for lines working in the pack house so everyone will know at every moment what we are doing and what is next to do.

Every day before we start work the Quality Control team to be at work 30 minutes early to be discuss which fruits we are using and where for because some time when we get stock even the fruits arrived with good quality after they stay few days they are for sorting or even for rejection and we are not able to pack them ,so that's why we have to have some small meting every day before work and see how things are going and always we need to have some option incase something happened and we are running out of time or fruits and we are not going to be able to finish the orders on time ,always have to be some second option and have some little extra time in our time planning so if something happened we will be some more flexible and will have time to get the thing done on time.

All the personal objectives stated above link to the organizational objectives of my work placement because all of them I'm aiming to improve the standard and speed of work in Pack-house , end everything to be much more organized and easy to understand and get done .With them I'm aiming to improve the expediency as well.

With reference to the above identify -

Personal challenges faced and gaps in your current skills and knowledge?

I want to get some more classes for my language so will be more easy for me and the other but the problem is just because i don't have a driveling lessons, and car so will be challenge for me but i will handle.

I will get some courses for human resource that is not the problem the problem is that because i need to go to Reading which is 8 miles away from the farm and will be a big challenge just because like i say i don't have a car and driveling lessons but that is not the only problem some of the times when i have to be here at 17:00 h. (that is the time the classes start) i need to stop working earlier and go and i hope my managers will be ok with that.

I want to get some courses for health and safety so i will know how to work health and safety at the work place and to protect my self on the other .The problem is that the courses for Health and Safety start at 01 of august and for our farm that is the business time and i need to go on the classes so that's why on the day when i have classes i am not going to have some breaks of work all the time which i have i will use for that classes and probably i will need to talk to my manager for little extra time actually for like 30 minutes extra.

I want to get some courses for food hygiene , the problem is that they don't do classes in here around my farm the nearest place for that is in Oxford which is far-away and the classes is 3 days in a row so i will need to work three weeks without day off and after that get days off together and spend them in Oxford.

Options for support and coaching from course tutors, manager or other colleagues-

For my language i have the option to get some help from my friend which we are working with like a Quality Control. She speak very good English and is helping me a lot to prove my.

For my quality improvement i am getting help from the same girl and all the rest of Quality Control crew specially my Manager which is very helpful for me and is helping me a lot.

For food hygiene and Health and Safety at work i can always ask to the Pack House manager which get some diploma for that and know very well everything about food hygiene .For Health and Safety i can always trust for help on the lady which is working in our office and is responsible for Health and Safety at work.

Other possible work-based learning opportunities -

My other learning opportunities is to learn some more about human recourses and working properly as a team .For that i should talk to our human resources manager and ask for help and some advice where i can get some classes and certainly to ask for devices which is the most important rolls to follow and to be good human resources manager and which is the best way for working with people and be helpful and productive.

This explains why the morning meeting i mentioned earlier is considered crucial - it is supposed to set down the job for each individual line ,review what kind of fruits we have ,if they are with good quality or they need to be sort on the line ,if they are enough to finish the orders ,the time needed for the fulfilment of each task as well as review the quality of the fruit to be packaged. If the quality of the fruits is found to be not up to standard then the fruit will have to be sorted out once again if necessary before is goes on the line. The other important thing is that we need to decide which fruits for which store are going to be packed and made some report to the label room so we can have the labels ready when we start packing the daily orders.

The lorries the company operates take care not only of customer produce deliveries; they are also supposed to transport to Pack House deliveries of fruit we import from abroad. In winter time we traditionally work only with foreign imported fruit and hence we need to collect foreign fruit deliveries from airports on a daily basis. The lorries 'time schedule needs to be worked out very accurately -our drivers are allowed to work only 8 hours 5 days a week and not a minute over. This places additional time restrictions and strain on our working schedule.

The manager is also supposed to be able to judge wisely when and how many of the workmen should be allowed a day-off in order not to place the production process under risk and cause objectives and tasks not to be fulfilled on time and to a high standard .Usually the slowest days are Saturday ,Sunday and Monday that's why this is days for the girls to have day off.

But not all the weeks are the same i will give some more examples on table (time shcedule for line workers)which are showing different way of having day off and good skills from the first line manager to handle them.

And the hard part is when the pack house is very busy and you need to split the lines for having day off because if you let more then one line to have day off at the same time you are putting yourself as a first line manager and certainly your team as well in risk to do not finish the work for the day on time and good work standard ,that's why you have to be very careful and review all the factors involve to the work process. On every line work 6 girls and they all need to have day off but the same time the work need go like usual and not having any possibility for running late or not finish something.

NOTICE:

For us Friday is the busy day in the week and we receive 1 more order then every other day which is provisional for Saturday that's why we never let the girls have Friday for day off because we need all of them to be at work ,so we are not going to be at risk for running late or not finish something.

As a Quality Control i am involved to some of the processes of work which i write in task 3,and which is for the First Line Manager but they are some of the most important. I am involve to the morning meetings which we are deciding which fruits are going for where ,how is the quality of them, how long we need to pack them (if they can go for straight labelling or they need to be sort)(which is helping him to made his own, and his team time planning for the day ),making orders for the labels in printing room together with the First Line Manager, because i know the specifications for every single store (exactly what they want ,and how they want that)and helping him/her to decide and order the labels for the fruits we are going to pack.QA team as a part of the process of work is very important and connected to every single step of work (packing on fruits on the line) that's why for the First Line Manager is very important to have a high level of communication with that department because them jobs are connected and certainly depending of each other. Every single line have a Quality Controller to look after the quality of the production that's why them time schedule depending on the time schedule for the line workers and need to be made very careful as well.

In sum on the basis of what has been written above and the available information ,we aim to provide a clear idea of what it means to be a line manager ,of the ability to distribute your time in view of fulfilling tasks and objectives set to high standard and within specified time. Flexibility is another very important point in the work process. A healthy line manager -worker communication is crucial to the work process as well as everyone's awareness of the goals of the organization wise accomplishment is the aim of everyone involved in the work process.

The personal development plan is another crucial point too .It needs to show clearly set objectives and tasks you will pursue ,some of them linked to your organization too. Further ,it needs to indicate you are fully aware of your own personal development ,what you are at the time the plan is prepared and what is necessary for you to attain your objectives. If you manage to put together a good personal development plan you will certainly be able to work out an appropriate time schedule of the work process and that of the work team; you will also be able to communicate well with work-team members and you will all have a clear knowledge of the objectives and tasks you're pursuing.

By doing this previous,tasks i learn a lot. Like i say i am don't have participation to the through process of taking decisions how to be organize the work for the day i am just narrowly connected to the process with quality of the production but by researching how the through process of work is going step by step i learn a lot.

For begin lets start with TASK 1

By doing this task i give to myself the real notion in what I am interested in , and what is my position at the moment ,and by investigate my future potentiality and perspective i build one real notion "WHO I WANT TO BE AND HOW CAN I BUILD MY FUTURE CAREER BETTER".I fully understand what is the importance of the personal development plan and why we need to prepare one before we start our career building .It is important just because you need to mark the road you are going on and the time you have for every single objective because if you don't have little pressure of the time and responsibilities you will not going to be motivated that much and you will need much more time to get them done.

Preparing TASK 2 was the most difficult part of everything. By doing this task which is to prepare your own personal development plan you teach yourself to be realistic and look on everything with sober look and to draw one clear road for growth which need to be exceptional and fully accessible and will have the real possibility (time ,money ,access ) , but the same time need to be limited with dates for end. When you start doing the personal development plan the first thing is to decide which is you smart objectives and for every one you define the date by which we need to get that objective done, but you need to be unusually attentive if the time you define will be enough for you to do your job your usually occasion and the same time to finish to do something additionally which you start with and which need to be done by date.
