Organization structure - The organization structure is the way in which the flow of chain of command in the organization or in simple words it is a way how any organization work (Broudy, et.al 1973).
There are many type of organizational structure exist. In the flat structure the chain of command is short and people who are at the same level are large in number but it is not good for organization because it lower the growth of the organizations. Another type of organizational structure is tall structure in the tall structure the chain of command is long and according to the hierarchy. It is often called hierarchy structure. Functional type of organization structure is also exist in which the organization is divided into different departments and according to the function such as marketing, accounting. There is also a mixed type of organizational structure in which there is a mixture of two different structure exist such as flat of functional and tall and functional (Goyal 2006).

This is an organization structure that already exists in the London School of Business and Science and it is a functional organizational structure and this is suitable for this organization. The functional organization structure is very efficient because now the company can focus on its each department equally because there is a separate department for each function. The direction of flow of command is top- bottom because all important decision are taken by the trustees and then principle. The functional organizational structure and role culture both contributes in the success of the company because in the role culture person who play the role he take the decision and in the functional structure there is separate department for the performing different activity of the company and separate person for performing different tasks of the department and every person has the right to take the decision according to the task perform by him (Cochran 1963).
Task 1.2 An outline of the culture of organisations and an analysis of how organisational culture impacts on people in organisations (AC 1.2)
Organization culture - the culture of any organization is referred to all the belief and value of the organization. Culture of any organization means the way how any organization works.
There are four type of organization culture given by the Charles handy
The power culture - In the power culture the handy describe that the power of organization is concentrated in few hands only and all the decision are taken by that central person. The ability of the power culture to adapt to changes in the environment is very much determined by the perception and ability of those who occupy the positions of power within it. in the power culture the ability of single person is checked (Broudy, et.al 1973).
Role culture - In the role culture the power is given to the person according to their ability and skills. Handy suggests that this culture is appropriate in organizations which are not subject to constant change. In the role culture the decision making power is in all those hand whose has to perform certain task. A role culture cannot exist in that organization where rapid change occurs.
Task culture - This culture is exist in those organization in which research and development occur and the decision making power is given to the few people for some time. It exists in those organizations where continuous changes occur and where close links between different departments is exists (Goyal 2006).

Person culture - This type of culture is not suitable for the business organization because in this type of culture all people share the same power. Organizations which portray this culture reject formal hierarchies for 'getting things done' and exist solely to meet the needs of their members.
Role culture will be suitable for this organization because in the role culture all the responsibilities are distributed according to the ability and skills of a person. In the role culture the distribution of authority and power is according the role played by that person. There is high formalization and high centralization in the role culture this means the person for example like the marketing head of the department has to plan the marketing plan for the company so he will have the power to take the decision that how the marketing would be done. He can take the decision about the route plan for the marketing channel of distribution and about the media for the advertisement (Cochran 1963).
Task 1.3 An analysis of leadership styles and their effects on individuals and teams (AC3.1)
A leader is person who can command the people and make the people work according to him but a leader always works for any goal and he has some responsibilities and authorities. This is not always possible that a leader always behave in a same manner because the behaviour of the leader changes according to the situation and type of subordinates he is handling. There are many different styles of leadership which shows the different behaviours of the leadership (Broudy, et.al 1973).
Autocratic and Aspiration visionary style-in aspiration leadership style the leader provides the direction to subordinates. He plans everything about the business and explains his plans to other and how other has to perform.
In public relation style - in this style leader tell his subordinates that how they have to behave with other and how they have present them self. This style of leadership is quite new and very beneficial for the organisation because now a day's companies are more towards its customers and if the leader of the company will behave with his subordinates in a good manner then the subordinates will learn the good behaviour skills and they will behave in the same manner with the customers.
Democratic/Human resources style - in this type of leadership style leader give support to their subordinates' .he share hand with subordinates and try to help the work all through their work. In this style a leader help his subordinates in their working (Cochran 1963)
Financial engineering style- in this type of style leadership play full supervisor role and he has all command in his hand.
Leziz Fair Style - in this type of style a leader behave like a father and he take all his decision on his own but before introducing any new change or any new decision he take opinion from his subordinates.
Analytical style - an analytical style leader analysis the full situation and then make plan according to situation. In this leader don't make the decision on the basis of his own perception. He take time to analysis the situation and that is why it is time consuming (Broudy, et.al 1973).
But I like public relationship style because with the help of this I need to learn how we can make good relation with people because I am working in a customer service organisation. A leader should not only instruct his employees because it is not possible that everyone know about all activities. He should tell them how they need to perform any activity (Goyal 2006).

Every organisation has people from different background experience and knowledge and it become very difficult for the business to manage them properly. There are some strategies are used by the organisation to manage its employees. The strategies to manage employees are as follows
Setting objectives for employees - There is one strategy to manage its employees is to get the objectives for its employees and then checks their performance with respect to those objectives. If the employees will not have desired output then corrective actions could be taken and if the employees will be aware about their objectives they will try to achieve those objectives.

According to the Maslow hierarchy need theory there are five type of needs for the individuals and these needs should be fulfilled according to the hierarchy. First of all the basic needs come which deals about the food, cloth and shelter of the people (Puri and Bansal 2008). Second type of need is safety of the people and after the completion of the basic needs every person needs safety for oneself. Then social needs comes as u know human being is a social animal and he needs people to socialize. Fourth needs is the self esteem. When a person have enough money safety and he has friends or social network then he has desire for self esteem which means self respect among people. Last need of this hierarchy is self actualization. After getting everything a person want luxury items for oneself.

According to Herzberg's theory (Goyal 2006) there are two types of factors. One is call motivational factors and another is hygienic factors. Motivational factor is very important for the improvement of the performance of the employees whereas hygienic factors. This hygienic factor is very important for the satisfaction of the employees but it alone cannot satisfy the employees. The combination of both factor is very important the full satisfaction of employees.

There ethical practices of the business help in motivating its employees because ethical practices ensure that business will not harm anyone with its activities. The CSR means the corporate social responsibilities. Every business has some responsibilities towards the society and business activities should not affect the social life. There should not be any harmful affect on the people through the business activities and society should get some benefits from the business such as quality products etc (Puri and Bansal 2008). The corporate social responsibility agenda help the business in motivating its employees because when employees find that business is taking care of the society then it will definitely take care of its employees.
Besides this if businesses have satisfied society then people will like its products and buy more and more products. This will lead to increase in the sales as well as profit. Business will have high chances to survive for long time in the market and the employees of the company will have their job for long time. In an organisation there is large number of people work and everyone is different from other in respect of many contexts (Puri and Bansal 2008). All these different of the people effect the behaviour of a person. The differences among the people are as follows
Skills - People could be different from each other in context of skills and someone could have better communication or other could have better leadership skills.
Impact - the person who will have leadership skills can manage the people in an effective manner and get the desired result out of them. A leader will be extrovert in nature.
Knowledge - People could be different from each other in the matter of knowledge. Few people could have good knowledge about one aspect of the business and other could have different aspect.
Impact - This difference also affect the behaviour of the person because who will have good knowledge about computer then he will keep on telling other about way of working with computer. Good knowledge about something bring confidence among the employees.

Every business use different style of management to manage its employees. In any organisation there are different types of employees work and due to those different they can work together without any supervision or management style because people with differences cannot agree on same point and cannot take any decision without help of supervisors. That is why management style is required.
For the above given organisation there is autocratic management style because all the decision have been taken by the top management. This is a good ideas to adopt the autocratic leadership style because if the management will let its employees to take decision then they will start arguing with each other and decision making will be delayed. To manage the people effectively the autocratic styles is appropriate (Puri and Bansal 2008).
Task 2.3 Explain how motivation theories can be applied to developing people (AC 4.1), and
Maslow theory is still also applying in the today workplace because it have keen sense of reality aware of real situations - objective judgment, rather than subjective, means it have a complete sense of reality. This theory is related to the reality because all needs are relevant and a person can think about his higher needs only after the fulfillment of his lower needs. All the company are now days focusing of this theory and these companies have to pay at least basic salary to its employees and these companies company can pay higher amount then that its basic salary but cannot pay less than basic salary. All companies provide safe working environment to its employees.
The Herzberg theory apply in today business because there are few hygienic factors like company policy and relationship with boss and peers (Arora 2007). On the other hand motivation factors like bonus, salary, responsibility and authority. Companies are fulfilling both factors together.

Coaching and monitoring are very important for the organisation because this coaching and monitoring help the business in assessing its development. If there will no coaching and monitoring then employees will perform without any objectives. There are many other use of coaching and monitoring
To measure the performance - The coaching and monitoring help the business in analysing its performance with respect to the predetermined objectives. A business should measure its performance so that it can find how much work has been completed and how much.
