Hero Honda bikes have been on Indian roads since 1984 when Hero Cycles Ltd. tied up with Hero Group of India and Honda of Japan to start a joint venture. Hero Honda's commitment is to customer - quality & excellence. Hero Honda's key strategy has been driven by innovation in every sphere of activity. The order for two - wheelers in India is dependent upon factors like accessibility of economics, increase in profits levels, and limited growth in community transportation and association in petrol prices.

The company is a joint venture between India's hero group and Japan's Honda Company, the collaboration being in 1984.Hero Honda Company is world's no 1 in two-wheelers. Now a day, in India one Hero Honda product is sold within 30 seconds .Hero Honda's top selling bike is -splendor in India. Based on north India, the company has three manufacturing facilities located at Dharuhera, Gurgaon (Haryana) and Haridwar (Uttarakhand) set up in the years 1985, 1997 and 2008 respectively.
Hero Honda is using machinery motorcycles in 100â€225 cc segment. Honda Bikes make over 15 different types and styles of bikes: The Hero Honda CD-Dawn, CD-Deluxe, Splendor Plus, Super Splendor, Splendor NXG, Passion Pro, Passion Plus, Glamour (125 cc), Glamour PGM Fl (125 cc), Achiever, CBZ Xtreme (Kick Start and Self Start), Hunk, (Kick Start and Self Start), Karizma, Karizma ZMR, and the Honda Pleasure and just launched Splendor pro in 2011. Project Aims and Objectives
The aims of the paper are to increase derivatives collection strategies for heeding business undertaking against Hero Honda.
Project tries to find out Hero Honda's share in the two-wheeler of Panipat.
Project tries to find level customer satisfaction of Hero Honda two-wheeler in the town of Panipat.
It is well known fact that the most important step in marketing research process is to define the problem. Choose for investigation because a problem well defined is half solved. That was the reason that at most care was taken while defining various parameters of the problem. After giving through brain storming session, objectives were selected and set on the base of these objectives. A questionnaire is being designed on major emphasis of which is gathering new ideas or insight so as to determine and find out solution to the problems.
The deliverables from the work are following:-
Review of existing literature on two-wheeler market and customer satisfaction.
Report stating the strategy by which company can improve its market share & customer satisfaction level.
Mathematical calculation of SD and variance to check the share of Hero Honda bikes & customer satisfaction with relation to Hero Honda bikes.
Strategies for improvement in market share & satisfaction for Indian two-wheeler companies.

To elaborate of customer satisfaction of hero Honda two wheelers and enhance understanding of two wheeler industry primary and secondary data would be required. Thus research will include gathering both Primary and Secondary data.
Primary data is the first hand data, which are selected as a fresh and thus happen to be original in character. Primary Data will crucial to know various customers and past consumer views about bikes and to calculate the market share of this brand in regards to other brands.
Secondary data are those which have been collected by someone else and which already have been passed through statistical process. Secondary data will be taken from internet, newspaper, magazines and companies' web sites and library.
The research approach will use survey methods which is a widely use method for data collection and best suited for descriptive type of research survey includes research instrument like questionnaire which can be structure and unstructured. Target population is well identified and various methods like personal interviews and telephone interviews will be employed.
It will give the target population that will be sampled. This research will be carried in Panipat
These will be respondents.
Data completion and analysis
After the data will be collected, it will be tabulated and findings of the project will be presented followed by analysis and interpretation to reach certain conclusions.
My project will be based on the Study of Hero Honda and data will be taken in the Panipat city only.
