According to result of both surveys I have participative leadership style. This is a style of leadership which involves leader and one or more of the staff and in the determination of what to do and how to do so. ParticipativeÂ leadershipÂ also expands the range of possibilities for the team. WhenÂ leadership stylesÂ that basically leave all the way and choice creation in the hands of one character, it is much more difficult to see a given approach from a number of different angles. When theÂ leadershipÂ style supports others to be involved in the decision making process, a known course of action can be advanced from a variety of perceptions. This can often point out forces or weaknesses to the approach that would have left ignored and thus unsettled without this type of participatory brainstorming and decision making.
There are a lot of different types of leadership theories to explain the concept and practice of leadership. I will give a brief overview of theories known better. Leadership theories that focus on what is known qualities between leaders and followers. I am going to explain the three leadership theories:
Transactional Leadership: -
This leadership style starts with the thought that group members consent to mind their leader when they judge a job. The "transaction" regularly involves the organization paying team members in go back for their effort and fulfillment. The leader has a right to "punish" team members if their work doesn't meet a suitable standard.
Even though this power sounds controlling and paternalistic, transactional leadership proposes some profit. For one, this leadership style elucidates everyone's roles and farm duties. In business situation transformation leadership theory is best leadership style to use. Transformational leaders are inspiring because they suppose the best from everyone on their team also themselves. This leads to high level output and appointment from everyone in their team.
The disadvantage of transformational leadership is that while the leader's passion is passed onto the team, he always needs to be supported by "detail people."That's why, in some organizations, both transactional and transformational leadership styles are useful. Transactional leaders make sure that routine work is done dependably, while transformational leaders look after initiatives that add new price. It's also essential to use other leadership styles when needed - this will depend on the people you're leading and the condition that you're in.
Democratic/Participative Leadership :-
Final decisions always made by leader of organization, but they include team members in the decision-making process. They cheer creativity, and team members are often very engaged in projects and results.
There are many benefits of democratic leadership. Team members lean to have high job approval and are productive because they're more involved in decisions. This style also helps to people to develop their skills. Team members feel in control of their luck, so they're motivated to work hard by more than just a financial return. Because participation takes time, this approach can slow decision-making, but the result is often good. The approach can be most proper when working as a team is necessary, and when quality is more main than competence or output.
The downside of democratic leadership is that it can often delay situations where speed or efficiency is essential. For example, during a crisis, a team can waste expensive time gathering people's input. Another downside is that some team members do not have knowledge to perform very well.

Leadership Role Model
True role models are those who possess the character that we would similar to have and those who have affected us in a way that builds us want to be improved people. We often don't recognize our true role models until we have noticed our own personal growth and progress.
a. Leadership profile: - Here I am going to state about two role models that have different leadership styles. My first role model is Stephen tindall. Stephen Tindall is very loving about the success of the New Zealand economy.
He thinks a winning economy is achieved from a culture that wants to be new innovative. This innovative spirit can set up with children at a young age by finishing simple tasks like as managing money and setting up little stalls.
Tindall was uncovered to business early in life and has forever had an commercial streak. His first employment was at home completing household chores for pocket cash, then departure on to mow lawns for neighbors. When he was 14 years old, Tindall worked at a local store delivering groceries and then facilitated his father at the hardware store. He did play for the All Blacks 25 times; he played in 14 matches as a caption. He did play for the Crusaders at lock. Amongst his success as a player was captaincy of the New Zealand All Blacks, the supporters Super 12 team. In 1990 he played 9 games for Nelson. Then he continuous to play professionally, In Scotland as the leader of the Edinburgh Gunners. First time he played for Woodened, next to Rangiora which kicked sour his Rugby Union profession.
He also played 7's for New Zealand in the opening world cup held at Murray field. He was the primary helper forwards coach of Scotland's earliest foreign head coach Matt Williams, and turn into the head coach of the Edinburgh Gunners below Frank Haden.

b. Benchmarking Criteria: - According to me the qualities of leader that I use for me are:
Setting goals: - location and attach to particular goals is an important part of building leadership skills and growing your leadership achievable, which makes achievement possible.
Influencing: - If we want to be a helpful leader, it is required to influence others to support and execute decisions so that the leader and other group members identify are necessary. Without influence leadership does not take place. In other words, leadership is performing of influencing outcomes.
Language of a leader: - Inspiration and motivation are very important in leadership. If our language skills are not effective then we cannot motivate to our team member.
Negotiation: - To confer or discuss with another with a view toward reaching Agreement where some interests may be shared and some may be opposed. Â Negotiating is the process of getting the best terms once the other side starts to act on their interest.
Positive attitude: - A successful leader should have positive attitude and should have control on mind with positive thinking. Handle to staff with effective way.
Trust: - If anyone is the leader of the group then he has self confidence. Every one should trust on him. It's his responsibility to make confidence towards member of team.
Contribution: - This is the guardian angel of team spirit. If all team members contribute to providing the best results themselves will lead a group that has very good potential for a severe blow as a team. Each member must contribute in some ways. If they do not operate their business, they will not make money, and you will not make money. Help them build their business.
Decisions making: - Good decision is main part to achieve goal, so make good decision based on logical evaluation of facts. When you got facts then make the decision.
Listening Skills: - Good listener can be successful leader. Listening to others can get better ideas and views. We cannot get information. Some leaders were not good listener so they could not get success, for example Adolf Hitler.
Problem solving: - In the way to achieve your goal, you can face some problems so, to get success you have to solve these problems. There are so many problems which we can use to solve the problem.
Emotional management: - If you are master of yourself then you can become a good leader.. Develop the qualities of daring, mental focus and purpose. Learn how to control your emotions when in aggressive condition.
Handling performance issues: - Some people cannot perform well so they need to improve it and do it good way. If you make corrections to noise like an abuse, it can cause a reaction that is more difficult than the original problem.
Planning ahead: - Firstly everyone needs plans to achieve goal. If you set a goal, but you have no plans capable of achieving them, then you have wasted your time. If you have a goal and you have a detailed, practical plan of action that is capable of achieving the goal, then you have a potent combination of elements. A plan is intended to be a prescription for a course of action aimed at achieving specific goal or objective, within a specific time.
Communication: - Leading occurs in the communication that gives other people access to the possibility of accomplishing something they weren't going to accomplish otherwise. Leading occurs in the conversations that give people the fuel and the opportunity to go somewhere they didn't know they could, to commit them to a future possibility, and to take action consistent with the accomplishment of that future.

Criteria measured in our own performance and development
If a company wants to be successful, it needs to estimate its act in a consistent way. In order to do so, businesses require setting principles for themselves, and measuring their procedure and performance next to recognized, industry leaders or against best practices from additional industries, which function in a comparable environment. This is usually referred to asÂ benchmarking, in management parlance. I go to use benchmarking tools which state 1 to 10 scale according to my qualities. If I give 1 to 3 its mean I do not have this quality ever, if I give 4 to 7 marks its mean average and 8 to 10 mean I have this quality very much with fully confidence.

Result of bench marking shows in which part I am week to become a successful leader and that qualities I have to improve to get success. In which part I gave less rank that I have to improve. I have done secondary class in non medical and now I am doing my Business Management course Level 5. My course helping me to improve leadership skills so, I can become a successful leader. As well as I am getting experience from my work, I was supervisor in 'Highbrook Truck Yard'. I got much experience from that work. On that work 18 guys work under me and that thing help me to improve myself and showed my leadership level. Now I am working in 'Anchor' as a truck driver. I meet too many people daily when I go to deliver milk. So its help me to improve communication, language of leader, listening skills etc. English is not my mother language so I have some problem in speaking and listening. But it is improving due to my job. I can trust on every one easily. This point is good and as well as bad. Because we should not trust on everyone. Negotiate with staff members is good for successful business. I believe in negotiate with staff. If employees are happy then they will work good and complete. Now I am an employee and working as a driver. I deliver milk at shops, factories, coffee café, bakeries, schools and college. This job is very hard job we have to carry 40 kg weight some times. So when we finish our work and come back to yard if our boss behaves us rude then we will not like to come on job next day. So I think behavior of a leader should be nice and happiness. I am not realy good in planning ahead. I cannot plan for long time.
According to survey I have participative leadership style. I like to work with my team member and give them chance to share their ideas with me and with other team members. So we can do job in easy way and in less time. My capability of work is I can do every hard work in less time. Now I am working in Anchor. That is very hard job I am younger than other employees. I got job there because I am fast then others and finish my work in less time. I learn every good thing from every one that can be a dog or can be a president of any country. I born in India and my father am my favorite role model leader. He always told me what to do and how to do. He has been leader of 'Truck Union Faridkot' since 7 years. All the people in my city know him and respect him a lot so I always try to adopt his leadership qualities. Firstly he starts work from one truck and now he has 21 trucks. So I am also wanted to be a successful leader like him. I also want to buy trucks in New Zealand and do my own business and be a successful leader. It's just starting and I am getting experience. And I have a confidence I will drive my own trucks in New Zealand.

Short term strategies
I do not have enough confidence for give a presentation front of people. So I have to improve that first, because this is very important and first step to be a successful leadership.
Behavior is the main quality of a leadership. But my behavior is very rude, if my behavior will be good and understandable then everyone my team member will like me.
Job search visa:
After complete my study I will apply for my job search visa. So, I can do full time work and get success more in my job. In that time I will try to do my own business. So I can complete my dream.
Long term strategies:
Buy franchise in Anchor
My dream is buy Trucks in New Zealand. So, I will buy Franchise in Anchor milk and will buy my own trucks to deliver milk. To achieve my Goal I will do very hard work.
Short term goal
As I showed I am week in presentation and my behavior is not good and also I want to get my job search visa. In my class I can get much chance to speak front of my class mate that can improve my confidence and in my class there some students from Philippine and some from Brazil as well. So I talk to them and can improve my language skills. In my class time and at home I spend time with my best friends and I can change my behavior. To get my job search visa I have to launch my visa application file according to immigration demands and I have to submit legal documents.
Long term goal
To success in my life I have to hard work in my life. In my college I can learn a lot and as well as on work place. I have to face every trouble in life and fight with that. I have to plan properly to achieve my goal and keep everything in mind because I am going to be a big business man so have to more careful. I can get help from my current boss. He is very helpful person I always tell him that I will buy an office next to your office and he is also ready to help me. Success is always depending on hard work and luck.
For short term goal strategy
To develop my skills I have to do hard work. To improve my presentation skills I should get help from my teacher. I can watch videos on YouTube and learn how to give a presentation in effective way. Presentation skills will improve by practice so, I have to do practice every day to improve it. My second short term goal is behavior. I have to change it and for this task I should spend more time with my friends and laugh more time so I can forget about anger. When I get anger I have to control myself. For this goal I can get help from internet as well. My third short term goal is my job search visa. To get job search visa I have to prepare my legal and required documents. I have to show $4200 in my tertiary account or somebody can sponsor me. I have told to my boss about this and he is ready to sponsor me.
Long term goal strategy
Buy Anchor Franchise is my long term goal. To achieve this goal I have to hard work. Firstly I should collect information about all Anchor products. Price of all products and all information about GST. Information about how to deal with customers and how to increase sale. My main aim is buy my own trucks in New Zealand so to complete this I need my class 5 license. So I can legally drive class 5 truck. I need money to start my business. My parents going to send me money how much I need they will send me.
Short term goal
We can learn whole life but I can spent 3month to improve my presentation skills. I have study visa at 31 March so after that I can apply for job search visa. At March I can work only 20 hours in a week, so I can join my classes to improve my presentation skills. To change my behavior I have to try every time in daily life. To get job search visa I have to wait for 3 month and at the end of March I can launch my file. It will take three week maximum.
Long term goal
To complete my long term goal I have to spend some more time. According to my plan I can complete it in next year. At the end of 2013 I will buy franchise in anchor or I will buy my own class 5 truck.
Short term goal
When my hand will stop vibrate during presentation that time I can say now I am a good speaker, because my weakness is hastate and nervousness. When I will come over this then I can speak very well. I can measure with collapse with listeners. When everyone will talk to me without any hesitation then I will feel my behavior is good. And I have improved this skill.
Long term goal
When I came in New Zealand I did not have enough knowledge, due to experience now I have enough information that is very helpful for me. Firstly I done one year diploma in computing level and after that now I am near to complete my business management course level 5. So I got altos of knowledge in some fields. That would be helpful in open my own business.
Short term goal:
For short term goal I have to attend presentation classes and hard work to improve. I have to make good relation with my friends and my relatives and teachers. So I can improve myself.
Long term goal:
To complete my long term goal I have to work hard and keep touch with Anchor. Be friendly with my boss because he is one of that who can help me a lot to start my business. And I have to make myself as a business man for example my attitude, dress up, communication etc. I have to fulfill all qualities of a successful leader.
