Leadership takes up in many forms in an organization and not even at workplace we have leaders around us, at home, in society, the country and the world. A leader is a person who not just inspires others but they are responsible to influence people towards the attainment of set and ad hoc goals. A leader has powers which is given in order to influence and make things happen. They have the power to reward, punish and command.
The religious culture also affects the decision making abilities and styles of the leader and the influence can be positive or negative. SMALL PRIVATE BUSINESS LEADERSHIP
Private businesses do not employ many people this is mostly a small business who cut down labor cost or are despotic style as working alone to meet the business goal. The leader sets the goal for his confidential business and he has to alter himself into the variety of leader his small business needs. This is mostly known as a sole trader business as the owner/leader engages him in a variety of business related task and tries to develop skills to eliminate all the abstracts also cutting the cost of production and minimizing the expenses and maximize the profit or the returns from the business.

In a small private business the leadership style depends on the nature of the business, the amount of work involved, and the number of staff involved and also depending on the consumers who are the revenue of the business. The leader's styles in this business are developed by their traits, and the set of beliefs they have for the business. These are mostly Democracy or autocracy depending on the leadership nature as if their followers require supervision and facilitating then the leadership style is of a democratic leader where as if it requires more pushing in completion of a task then it is a autocrat.
In a small private business the leaders follow other leaders who are in the same field of business. A dairy shop leader would follower other dairy shop leaders to be able to complete and achieve is goals for the business. The workers follow the organizational leaders as they have to lead their workers in the direction of success.
The power's for his business always depends on the owner as he is the one who has the authority to make decisions about the business changes and rules for the followers and also sets the goals.

These business leaders provide authority to other sub leaders to provide facilities and solutions according to their problems.

This solution normally has been used previously in one of their events in on another branch of the business which makes the final decisions similar and easier.
Small Private Business vs. Large Sized Public Business
The business structure for both of this business are different as in a small private business, the decisions, solution for problems, and the changes are made by a single person who is the leader of the business and in most business the leader is also the owner. The profit margin, goals and effect of economic changes are less in this organization.
For a Large sized public business the decision, solution and changes are discussed with other leaders or followers before they are actually taken in to action. The changes in the economic structure affect this business in a variety of matter as they are intact to a variety of product which attracts nationwide consumers.
I think that the leadership concept takes in place depending on the situation the leader are involved in. I believe that all the leaders are made, they have became successful and known by others only because they have worked towards their goal not coz they were born as a leader. To become a successful leader we have to achieve the goals we set. I also believe that team work is the key to accomplish the given task and also the way to enhance good leadership skills.
Leaders encourage and push their staff towards making profit or meet their monthly goals. The business and the staff operate in such a way that they are trying to provide maximum customer service to the public by providing retail services, after sale service and sometimes as well as replacement services. These organizations motivate their staff by providing them with bonus and pay rise incentive but the main aim of the organization is to make maximize their returns.

The leadership styles of the nonprofit organization are totally different compared to other organizations as these leaders are more encouraging and provide helping for a nonprofit organization the team members don't receive pay or wages. All the employees are motivated to obtaining a goal which would be beneficial to the public.

There is a major difference between the profit and nonprofit organization. The common difference is that the profit organization has is common aim which is to make maximum profit possible to them where as for a nonprofit organization which is funded by government or survive on donations have a common aim to provide services to the poor and needy when it is needed.
For the leadership concept for profit and nonprofit organization, I believe that all the leaders have a common goal to achieve their task which is set by their organization. all the leaders work towards this goals either by providing support to the other or provide services in return for profit.
This are companies that operate in a ethical way taking in to account that they have to earn profit at the same time also being responsible its natural environment and the people. These organizations provide back a potion form their profit to the community being socially responsible towards the environment.
In business leadership, the leaders have to decide how they could take care of their environment. All business has produced some kind of waste material which in some how or the other harm our natural habitat. Leaders have to make decision how they would be able to provide back a helping hand to the public. Business leaders have to be socially responsible to eliminate crime and natural harm in the by supporting the law group.
Telecom New Zealand have stated in their web site that they have become more socially responsible as they are now working with relevant authorities to ensure there is no internet bullying. They are also participating in recycling activities, power saving, fuel reduction initiatives and waste minimization.
Values are what we put importance to in daily lives and can include anything from the real world which means something for us and supply meaning to our life and influences decisions we make every day. At work place or any organization we are connected with has a set of values that stem from the corporate culture of that organization and rarely it would happen that our values align with that of the organization we are part of. A leader who is using the values based approach will make his followers value what they do at the organization and help them align well their values with the organizations values. For human resource to function well, freedom is also important to help them feel secure and wanted in the organization. Responsibility to stake holders
A leader is the prime focus when it comes to having to engage employees ethically and responsibly to the organization because it is the leader who is in the middle between the management and the employees. The leader has the power to influence the employees either positively or negatively against the organization, therefore, whatever the leader does affects the organization directly and the stakeholders are affected indirectly. Understanding that a stakeholder is anybody associated with the organization including the leader himself, the employees, management and the shareholders; the leaders actions does affect every stakeholder to the organization.
Every stakeholder has vested interest with the organization and as a leader, he has to understand and respond to the different individual motivator needs of the stakeholders. The shareholders want action and return on investment as quick as possible and this need is focused back on the management to produce result in short term and to which the management enforces pressure on the leader to motivate and influence employees to produce results in short time. So basically, the achievement of the strategic goal lies in the hands of a good leader and the actions of the leader will determine if either or how fast the organization is able to meet deadlines and its strategic goals. A negative influence from a very trusted leader will create a rift between the management and the employees which affects every stakeholder and vice versa for a positive influence which will create levels of success.
The leader with his action can help the organization reach heights of achievement that will benefit employees, leader, management and the shareholders and every other stakeholder. There are lots to know from an unethical acts carried out corrupt politicians and not to point any State, there are politically corrupt countries that cause damage to the society and country to benefit their own. Economically speaking, a politically corrupt country causes years of rebuild to cover for the damage to the society and becomes like a vicious cycle where a politician continues his /her unethical behavior year after year and to change the system is somewhat an impossible task. Focusing on matters like drugs or any other things that illegal to use, the public wants to use them but they are forbidden, this can spark outrage amongst the illegal users of drugs and somewhat weaken the justice system of the country and the government shouldn't be surprised if a protest is planned.
The point behind this is that would or will the politician be ethical in a public face when he or she is completely unethical in his or her private face? Well in my opinion, no. Everyone has a personal life but when a person becomes a public figure he or she needs to understand about his action and its impact on the society. Being a public servant means you have to put public interest ahead of your own and do realize your publicized private acts will also raise a concern about your performance as a political leader of the country and also affect the entire cabinet's success during the next election.
Whether leaders are made or born; and whether leadership is an science or art. Nevertheless, these are not commonly exclusive alternative. Leadership may be somewhat of talent; it still require the submission of special skill and technique even if there are confident natural qualities that makes one, these unusual talents need support and expansion.
