Our personal feelings and the learning's from the experience by completing this project and its process of completion is that we have enjoined a lot while doing this project and the project topic is also such that anybody could enjoy because this is something related to the persons professional and work life i.e any person of working class and this made us feel very interesting while doing the project.
We also felt that and came to experience that how important the human rights standards in any body's life after taking up the job in any kind of business or company or retailing business stores or departmental stores or any kind of factory or any kind of establishment, and irrespective of these a worker should know about rights which are their employment rights and they are like their birth rights which all the workers are entitled for to avail and use.
We personally felt that how important these human rights standards in any worker's life and we also felt by doing this project and can say that generally workers come to know about the importance and its existence only after joining the organization or retailer but its our luck and we are very much fortunate to know about what are the rights which have been framed for the benefit of the workers both working inside and outside of their home countries. Like working hours, working conditions, payment of wages, health measures, accommodation provision, proper sanitation of the work environment, and etc.,
I personally feel that this is the best project which made learn not only about the important of human rights standards but also made me aware of all these rights because being a student I may not be entitled to enjoy but being student aim happy that I came to know about all these rights which would help me in exercising these rights after completing my studies and getting into the employment or work.
I did not identify any specific personal problems either with the content or the process or the other group members because the top of the project is such that every body has to know and are interested in knowing about the human rights standards because they are going to play a very important role once we get into employment or would have to work for a large clothing retailer this information would help us in fighting for out rights at work place where we would get employed. This is what made us felt interesting and in our view every body would be interested in knowing about these human rights standards in existence and too as per the United Nations organizations.
We all have worked in coordination and have exchanged views for the best and proper presentation of the project work and we have learned from each other a lot because each one thinks differently and expresses them differently and help us in the long run like how to work in a team and how to coordinate the things and put them in one shell and this is what we have experienced while doing this project work though we have experienced some differing view but still at the end we have united completed the project.
Group dynamics and learning from the experience :
Our group has responded to the project process positively. Only one thing or one problem which we have felt that gathering of the total information about the project to be completed. We have divided the work and worked for it like topic wise we have divided and gathered the information and this is how our project and team work have started. Our group has responded positively for the contributions I have made and they have appreciated for my contributions and my input which I have put into the project work completion.
The new insights which have evolved are how to work in a group, how to coordinate the information gathered, how to compile that gathered information into one common project work, how to compile the work, how to do the editing work for the work we have done, how to bring the all the team member under one roof, how to solve the problems among the team members irrespective of personal or professional, and etc. these are the new insights which every member of the team have recognize them for their own personal development and growth.
The other members of the group have regarded me as a member with whom a good team work could be carried out at all the times and in all the team projects which might have to take up in future. Every body have contributed their part to the project completion without any complaint and arguments among the team members in solving the problems without any arguments. This was the good thing about our team work. The values we have learned are that the importance of the team work and team members and came to know that with team work we could achieve any thing in this world and sky is the limit. because this principle or this value we have learned is of that much importance in our lives to come and consultations have played a very vital role in the upkeep of the team spirit which is the most important character or prerequisite of any kind of team work and came to know that without this team spirit we can stand no where and could face the break down in our lives.
Lessons for future projects:
The following are the 5 key lessons to improve the performance in future group activities and projects :
To hold the team spirit: Holding of the team spirit is very important for working for a team or working under a team. This is very important and this is irrespective or any kind of work that is personal or professional because good team work could bring about good results of the work which has been taken up. It is the utmost important key lessons to be learned by all the team members because until and unless this team spirit is not there than there would not be any point in taking up any project by the team.
To hold on to total belief in the team member : to hold complete belief in the team members is very important because if this is not there than there might exist disbelief among the members and thereby leading to distraction in the project work undertaken and also at the same there might be break down in the channels of information for the perfect flow of the information and gathering of the information might be broken and again there by leading to disagreement in views among the team members. Existence Complete belief among the team members on each is should and must for the smooth flow of information in the project.
Time management is required : Time management is very much essential and that too when team work has been taken up otherwise even if the project has been completed but it would be of no use when it is not completed in time as per the project requirement and this is the most importance for any kind of project undertaken. One to one coordination has to be done with in the time prescribed and given for the completion of the project. If time management is not considered than the project and the team would hold no value and the team work would hold any value when it is done and completed in time.
Team Integration : Team integration is very much required for the best and proper performance of the project or any group activities and team integration would exist when team spirit and total trust and belief among all the member of the group or team is maintained. This is very much essential for any group activity or group presentations. Team integration is nothing but harmony among the team or group members where all the group or team members holding on to the one view all the decisions done and taken by the group or team and there would not be any dis- harmony in the decision taken. This would enhance the performance of the group activity and team work or project undertaken by the team.
Individual Contribution to the Team: Individual contribution to the team performance is very much required in order to bring out the work or the project which is being taken up as a team work or group activity to the best of their potentials and to make a good presentation of the work. Being a team member every body's contribution is essential and the team work is carried out with the contribution by every member of the team or group. Whatever a member is capable of contributing has to contribute to the team performance.
General conclusion from this team work in this project work process is that we all have contributed to the best of our capabilities. We also have experience that how important it is to work in a team or group activities. We came to know that it is teaching us how to behave in a team or group, we came to know about some team ethics, team norm and conditions which very much essential for the best performance of the team and bring out the best out of the group or team, and etc.,
We are fortunate that our team members are of same views and understanding and this is the asset of our team work. We have become that much close that we just spoke to each other directly without any round the clock asking and no round the clock answering. We had just stick to the point and cleared everything one by one and this is our team strong point and we think that in any team work or group activity this is what is required for the best performance of the team and best presentation of any project given to the team or taken up an a team or group activity and this is what we have experienced and understood in the project process and group activity process and in our view this is what is required from the team or group members individually because individual would only make a team or group and whatever they contribute as an member or individual would become the work of the team or group project.
So finally we would like to say that by working in a team we would come to know about its importance and where we should improve ourselves, how a team works, what are the essential requirement for the good team work and performance i.e essential ingredients required for the good team work or group performance or team presentations of their work.
