It is a flexible plan which connects the employee's professional and personal development with the development of the organisation. It allows the member of staff, provides enthusiasm and support, engages the member of staff and increases the level of trust between the member of staff and the organisation. A Personal Development Plan (PDP) also provides recognition of the member of staff as a valued employee whose opinions and development count to the organisation. A Personal Development Plan (PDP) helps to promote a continuous development culture within the organisation and allows a member of staff to understand what their needs are and to plan for the best method of achieving them.

About the Organisation

Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS), the company which I was working in India. It is a Software services consulting company headquartered in Mumbai, India. TCS is the largest provider of information technology and business process outsourcing services in Asia. TCS has offices in 42 countries with more than 142 branches across the globe.

TCS is a flagship subsidiary of one of India's largest and oldest conglomerate company, the Tata Group, which has interests in areas such as energy, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, materials, government and healthcare.

It was my most recent organisation; I was working as a Senior Process Associate and it is a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). My responsibilities were Quality Checking relates with the requirement of the Field "Compliance". Analyzing and testing the process in order to check the control are in place to mitigate the risk caused by operations. Verifying if customers accounts were processed according to the payments and arrangements offered by the Citibank. Perform the role of an Auditor for an affiliate of Citi's North America Cards Collections. Notify clients/business on probably reputational/operational risk that might affect the business and involve in drafting and implementing a Corrective Action Plan to mitigate the risk and follow up through to the point of resolution by working with the clients/business. Maintain excellent rapport with the client and the management to discuss process improvements, risk and control identification and establishments and to discuss issues and concern while testing the risks and controls.

Personal and Professional Skills

The following skills which helped me to performing the service well in my most recent organisation:

Hard Work

My job was required strength and endurance at least some of the time. I was very enthusiastic and hardworking at my work to complete the tasks on time. I was very perfect at my work. There were some difficult situations handled and successfully performed by me.

Teamwork

I was working as a team in my concern and I need to work with my team colleague to do some business activities which was advised my Team Unit Manager or Operations a Manager.

Supporting Sensibility

The colleague who needed assistance to complete the task before the deadline, I have helped them to finish the task on time. So that process can be done before the expectation date of completion.

Flexible

I was easily adapted to new initiatives or to be changed according to circumstances. It will be cascade to my team colleagues. In the situation everyone can easily familiarized to the new projects.

The educational process whereby a professional engineer or professional land surveyor licensee engages in a continuing program to maintain, improve or expand skills and knowledge.

2.2 SWOT Analysis:

SWOT Analysis is a useful technique for understanding my Strengths and Weaknesses, and for identifying both the Opportunities open to my and the Threats my face. Strengths and weaknesses are often internal to my organization, while opportunities and threats generally relate to external factors.

Strengths:

It is important to assess my strong points, as not only will they lead my suitable career, but having a good idea of what they are will also be very useful in an interview situation. It should always make my prospective employer aware just how valuable my will be! If I'm having trouble getting started, take a look at the following list for some examples:

Conclusion:

The thing I want to start doing is to preparation my time up to this Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Skills (EDSML) well. So that I can top up to Masters in Business Administration and I'll be having a good Personal and Professional Development Skills which I am learning right now.

Short Term development

Short term career development goals are for the next 12 months. These career goals are within their current development and are designed the skills and experience or to position myself for the next career move in the following year.

Long Term development

Properly set goals lead towards my path of success, allow myself to take risks and set challenges. If I have set goals, then only, I keep trying, always. Goals help me to control my emotions and fears when the going gets rough. Achieving small goals make me more and more confident and easily set and achieve big goals then. Goal setting is very personal but I hope, I'll find the above helpful while setting new goals. While I am setting new goals, I must look inward to understand what it is I truly want to accomplish. Setting personal goals requires discipline, time, and an ardent desire to make personal change and I'll start a departmental store in the next 3 or 5 years, and I'll implement all the planning which needs to follow my self as well.
