ABSTRACT

Before we can elaborate more of what is required in Effective Supervisory Management and its responsibility, it would be essential to first and foremost to understand the relation of such profession in the business.

The word Supervisory synonym with the word supervision which means in short as "watch to make sure that something is done; direct someone's work" (Collins)

In any organisation, supervisory or first line manager position is the front line for representing on behalf of the management. Thus, in this PMA thou it is not requested to do so, I felt it is of highly important to remind myself in brief to understand what Supervisory Management are and how the effect especially in workplace that involve an organisation as such. In strategic management, the supervisory will be the eyes and ears for the management and the speaker to. It is crucial for any supervisor to understand what are the business goal is. To understand such goal one MUST first know what are company's Vision and Mission is.

Supervisory Management in my organisation where I am attached to are directly involve in coaching and overseeing portion of a segment in an organisation in whole. With out which the strength of the organisation pillar ie. Human capital will not be able to sustain and properly control. I am in ISO documentation and training division. I will attempt my very best to furnish such requirement in this PMA which is very much related to my day to day activities.

Assignment: Here in this PMA, we are to discuss important characteristics a contemporary supervisor should possess in order to execute his/her roles and duties effectively by keeping both the employees and the employer in mind.

Founded in 1981, Beyonics Technology Limited is a leading provider of advanced contract manufacturing services to original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs") in computer storage devices, medical devices and electronics communication products and a leading manufacturer of precision machining parts for the hard disk drive, electronics and automotive industry.

The contract manufacturing services include printed circuit board assembly, full turnkey system assembly, testing, packing and distribution, manufacturing of plastics injection mould parts and precision stamping parts. The precision machining services include the design and fabrication of tools, aluminum die casting and precision machining.

Beyonics Technology Limited aims to grow strategic manufacturing partnerships with its portfolio of world-class, leading-edge customers. This will be achieved through its supply chain leadership, vertically integrated operations, strong customer focus as well as the synergies of its dedicated and motivated management team.

Technology International, incorporated on 28th December, 2007 is located at PLO 171, Jalan Perindustrian Senai 7, Kawasan Perindustrian Senai III, 81400 Senai, Johor, Malaysia. This plant has started manufacturing process since December 2007.

The factory is well equipped with modern facilities for state of art technology in Printed Circuit Board Assembly. The factory has:

2.1: MANAGEMENT DEFINITION

Management as mentioned in a "Concise Dictionary of Business Management." (Statt),. is as follows;

1. All that is involved in making the most effective use of available resources, whether in the form of machines, money or people.

2. A collective term for the people responsible for the management of an ORGANIZATION; that is, for the directing, PLANNING and running of its operations, for the implementation of its policies and the attainment of its objectives.

The preparation of ACCOUNTING information for use by the MANAGERS of an ORGANIZATION in budgeting, decision-making, PLANNING and formulating policy.

An AUDIT of all aspects of MANAGEMENT in an ORGANIZATION to review the use of all resources and see whether any improvements in efficiency can be made. It includes an examination of CAREER DEVELOPMENT, MORALE of STAFF, the effects of PERSONNEL policies, financial PERFORMANCE, PLANNING effectiveness and the SKILLS of the organization's MANAGERS.

There are a variety of views about this term. Traditionally, the term "management" refers to the activities (and often the group of people) involved in the four general functions ie. Planning, Organising resources, Leading and Controlling/Coordinating. The four functions recur throughout the organisation and are highly integrated and one entity the organisation may topple or incomplete functional.

It is a widely misunderstood term by many people believe it applies only to people who oversee the productivity and development of entry-level workers. That is not true.
