Implementation of Knowledge Management on Enterprise Innovation Management
Research Question and Aims:
This essay is going to try to establish a theoretical framework for virtual enterprise knowledge management research and theoretical study, which reveals the knowledge management process in a web-based virtual enterprise architecture and how it works. Moreover, the introduction of a virtual enterprise based on business processes a unifying framework for knowledge management. On this basis, the preliminary study would propose a functional model of knowledge management, and achieve designing the initial part of the knowledge to process management capabilities.
The history of the enterprise growth and the development is nearly all relate with innovation activities. Grasp the competitive advantage, create the unique products, and gain absolute profit inevitably rely on these continued innovation activities. Of modern enterprises, the technical leading strategy no longer is the management idea which the high technical enterprise alone obeys, but more and more industries manufacture enterprise esteems. Many enterprises cases indicated that, originality of the new technology has been successfully applied to like textile, food, clothing, as the traditional labor-intensive industries, to increase the added value of their products. It can be said that, the technical exclusive gradually becomes the enterprise important safeguard to gain the market competitive advantage, and the innovation technology is the important way to change competition status and enhance the core competitive ability for an enterprise or even the whole industry.
Knowledge management is very important for a modern business, especially in high-tech enterprises and other knowledge-intensive company. Therefore virtual enterprise as the mainstream form of the 21st century in business organization equally exists knowledge management and utilization problems. On one hand, knowledge management is a very important and unavoidable indicator for enterprises. On the other hand, its research has slowly gone beyond the scope of an enterprise in recent years; as a result, it has become an inter-organizational boundary of knowledge management issue. However, in these areas there is a lot of research perspective in the future, so that it is worthy to study and research whether in business or the field of knowledge management. Such as: 1. Business is based on their respective core competencies in order to meet the needs of a market dynamic composition and collaborative operation. In these alliance companies between a range of markets and organizations, knowledge sharing, transferring and usages are essential. But how do they work? 2. Knowledge management in an enterprise played its role. What is the difference of knowledge management approach and methods and in a single enterprise? What is a mode of operation in knowledge management? How to promote the operational efficiency of enterprises? 3. How to make good use of participating enterprise knowledge in a Virtual Enterprise? 4. How to more effectively use information technology to achieve knowledge management in a Virtual Enterprise? These are all worth studying and researching problems.
Proposed Methodology and Methods:
In the first place, This essay will uses the knowledge management technology to improve the enterprise innovation system, has studied the knowledge management connotation, the enterprise innovation and the knowledge management relations, the innovation system and the frame and the level, and details the enterprise innovation, enterprise innovation strategy development, knowledge management under the control of the process of enterprise innovation.
In the second place, this dissertation will focus on enterprise innovation based on knowledge management issues. Due to there are very few researches in this area, actual cases are also less as well. So this paper will mainly rely on the theoretical study of knowledge management to propose a unified framework of a knowledge management system. On this basis, it will design a knowledge management functional model and achieve its function.
1. For knowledge management, the study has two directions, which is as the object and process of knowledge; for enterprise applications from a management science perspective, this paper regards that the study of knowledge process is more important. Therefore it will not be related to artificial intelligence research. 2. Due to the study is based on knowledge management in enterprise innovation, if the dissertation does not specify, it will generally refers to knowledge-intensive enterprises. 3. In this paper, the research of knowledge management in companies focuses on the operational phase in enterprises. There is no more discussion about the phase of venture formation and bankruptcy: for example, the formation of the core knowledge and quantitative identification, the distribution of shared knowledge in company dissolution.
In Research methods, firstly it will adopt empirical research and secondary data to research. According to the innovative development of enterprise management and the status of the relevant data analysis, this paper will summarize the main problems; secondly, theoretical research and case studies combining is also necessary. Through theoretical study and actual case analysis, both sides can be each instructed and supported, which may provide guidance for the innovative practices in business management.
For the sake that enterprise innovation based on knowledge management is a relatively new subject. This essay will research the theoretical foundation for enterprise knowledge management, including its research content, processes and strategies, and ensure that its principles. In a consistent framework for the strategic and theoretical studies, it will be a combination of enterprise business processes in a unified framework for enterprise knowledge management, and in this framework it will design a functional model of enterprise knowledge management system. Furthermore, it will discuss an enterprise innovation in knowledge-based management and a concrete realization of the system.
