Introduction:

Performance management is known as the "'Achilles Heel" of human capital management which is one of the most important and difficult part of an organization to be implemented in the organizations. Balanced score card was introduced as a measurement device, today it has become a strategic management system that helps an organization to work on its vision and helps in translating the vision into the action which is inculcated across the organization. It helps in evaluating the performance of an organization and helps in bridging the gap between the strategic objectives and the execution of the objectives. It helps in providing the feedback from both internal as well as external outcomes which helps in improving the strategic performance of the organization so as to achieve the set objectives. 'The balanced score card complements the financial measures with operational measures on customer satisfaction, internal processes and the organization's innovation and improvement activities that are the drivers of future financial performance'. In this paper, we have tried to analyze the performance effectiveness for a fast food organization. This paper will bring into picture different perspectives of the organization which will help in enhancing the performance of the organization.

Organization:

The organization that we are focusing on is a fast food organization which provides customers a wide range of fast food products that will be offered to the consumers. The concept of the organization will be on idea of selling the fast food at a cheaper price than its competitors, with a strong focus on fast turnaround concept. The company will focus on 'Fordist' approach for production.

Strategic Objective of the organization:

The organization focuses on becoming one of the most desirable places for the customers to eat fast food. The organization will aim on becoming one of the leading organization which focuses on delivering quality food to its customers with a strong focus on cleanliness and service. The organization will focus managing its operations in consistent with the needs of its consumers as well as employees.

The company will focus on becoming one of the largest fast food centers in ten years along with global existence of its chain outlets with a focus on becoming the desirable food joint for the consumers.

Link between team performance and strategic objective:

Being a fast food industry it is very important for the organization to focus on quality and team management. There needs to be proper coordination in the team which will help in enhancing the performance of the team. The organization needs to have a strong focus on learning and growth in the organization which will be fostered through continuous training so as to improve the efficiency of performance of the employees.

The company should focus on expanding its product range so as to cater the increasing needs of consumers.
