Oil and Gas industry has been a key factor of Kazakhstan's economical success providing real GDP growth above 9 percent for the last 6 years. "Kazakhstan produced approximately 1.22 million barrels per day (bbl / d) of oil in 2004 and consumed only 224,000 bbl / d, resulting in net exports of almost 1 million bbl / d.
