As the credit crunch claims more and more business, and many traditional graduate employers are cutting the number of vacancies for new graduates, UK Essays have pledged to provide today’s students with all the help and guidance they need to succeed in later life.
Using only qualified researchers (no students allowed!), UK Essays provides essay help for thousands of students every year. Whilst many journalists have claimed the service promotes cheating, press officer, Karl Brown, points out that a model answer is actually of more help to a student than doing nothing, and blames the current situation on the National Curriculum lower down the education system:
“Schools in the UK are scared of falling down league tables, so they’re teaching kids to pass exams, and nothing else. Whilst that means we’re getting record numbers achieving top grades at A-level, kids aren’t being taught how to think or research to a high standard before they enter university. They’re not being taught how to write essays. To make matters worse, universities have been slow to recognise this, expecting students to be able to sprint when they haven’t been taught how to walk properly!
“What this means is that students don’t understand how to write an academic, researched essay. So they get stressed and might leave the course early, not because they haven’t got the potential to do the work, but because no-one has given them any form of help – no research help, no essay help, nothing. We’re providing help so people can develop long-term skills which will help them throughout their lives, skills they need not just at university, but will ensure they’ve got the best chance of getting one of the dwindling numbers of graduate jobs. If a little essay help now will explain something and help them develop their own skills, helping them ride out the current economic climate, then we’ll offer all the help we can to make them a success.
