With literally dozens of essay sites popping up each and every day offering cheap essays, UK-based UKEssays.com wants to warn anyone thinking of using an essay site to be very, very careful.
They’ve published a guide warning people what to look out for when visiting anyone offering cheap essays.
“We want people to be able to order a custom essay safe in the knowledge that the company they decide to go with is 100% legitimate and safe to use,” says Quality Officer and spokesman, Karl Brown. “Every day we get calls and emails from students who’ve used other essay sites and been ripped off. Either the work was awful and clearly not written by someone fluent in English, or the company just took the money and ran; and because a lot of these sites are based outside of the UK, they’re not subject to UK law, leaving you with little chance of getting justice.”
With hints to help detect which sites are scams, and tips to check whether the site you’re using is a legitimate UK-based company, UKEssays.com hopes that the advice will help clean up the essay writing industry.
“These fraudulent essay sites have some very tempting offers and prices, but you’ve got to remember that a fully qualified academic isn’t going to work for chicken-feed,” says Karl. “If you come across an essay site offering you something that sounds too good to be true, like ridiculously cheap essays, then go through the steps in the guide we’ve produced, and make sure you stay safe.”
