Soccer Football FIFA

One of the famous sports to evolve from many cultures is, what we know as football or soccer here in the United States. Many cultures had a ritual of a game that was some kind of similarities. Soccer fist started in China and spread all over the world. People think the closest culture to have a game like soccer was the Chinese ancestors. Many other countries changed the rules but as it started to be a world game and the FIFA administration decided to come up with specific rules. A soccer game consists of a ball and a field with soccer courts, lines and rules. People later changed from outdoor soccer to indoor because of weather. Also by changing this they also changed many features. As soccer continued to get famous around the world USA took it in and many people were fascinated with it, and started their own league called Major League Soccer. Now day's soccer is one of the most played sports around the world and is one that a family can enjoy together.

Scientific evidence shows that soccer or football first originated from China in the 2nd and 3ed centuries B.C. They played a game that was exactly like soccer but also had some differences between each other. The Chinese people played in special soccer shoes as we do, for better grip of the ball and grown. Also they had a ball, which was made out of leather filled with feathers. Now days we use a leather ball filled with air for better distance. They played in teams and V.S another as we do too. They would beat their opponents by making shots at a small hole 30-40 cm width as we do but now days the courts are bigger. They had certain rules for the game that are alike as we do such as, hands on the ball not permitted while playing only their feet, chest, head, and shoulders where permitted to stop a shot just like we do except the gole, he can use hands to catch the ball. Also other people played together in a small circle with a little ball, just as some people play hackey-sack trying to not let the ball hit the floor. Which has a lot to do with soccer since it requires good skill to control the ball. Many other places such as Greek and Great British had there a different kind of sport than the Chinese did but it was still very much alike as our modern soccer. (Lincoln)

Soccer became real popular that it even started here in the United States on December 17, 1993. The league was started by FIFA and Alan Rothenberg for their good matches at the FIFA World Cup. The MLS league started on 1996 with only 10 teams Columbus Crew, D.C. United, New England Revolution, NY/NJ MeteroStars, Tampa Bay, Colorado Rapids, Dallas Burn, Kansas City Wiz, Los Angeles Galaxy, and San Jose Clash. Those where the first teams to start playing on this league. As it began it had little fans because most Americans where more into Football than soccer. So they decided to get more teams on the league. These new team are Chivas USA, Real Salt Lake, Chicago Fire, and Huston Dynamo. Now with 14 teams the MLS league has grown more and has changed the view of many American people. By 2010 the MLS wants to get 2 more team in the league and are looking to see what place could have a soccer team. There has only been six team in the league to win the cup these are, D.C. United, Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, Chicago Fire, Kansas City Wizards, and Houston Dynamo. The only team to have won the MLS cup twice is Huston Dynamo, who just won last year with a game against New England Revolution 2-1 was the final result. The MLS league will start April again and would end on December, that's who long the season lasts. But on 2010 that my change to a longer time because of new teams. (Wikipedia)

Soccer has grown so much that people decided to make his or her own leagues. As these leagues started many rules changed or were added for the protection of many players. These rules were also added to make the game fair and square for all the team. People have a grate passion for it that they liked playing in any weather and invented indoor soccer. Our soccer here in the USA has grown because of the great sport it is. The history of football has had many important memories that have made soccer really interesting.
