Later in 1958, another theorist called Arnold Lazarus further developed the CBT into its full wide range. He expanded the therapy to include the physical sensation, interpersonal relationships, and the biological factors (Lazarus, A.A, 1958)

Cognitive behavioral therapy has been developing for assisting the patient change cognition and the behavior that led to their social disorder. It also help people to understand themselves especially when misunderstanding cause dysfunctional (Beck, 1997). Uses of the cognitive behavioral therapy

The cognitive behavioral therapy can be use in various areas to assist people who are affected by the social disorder. A good example of a person who can be provided with this kind of therapy is a child. For a child to understand procedures such as self talk, and self training he or she must have a cognitive ripeness. The child should be allowed to learn the skills willingly and be given time to applied them so as to, make their adjustment process effective. To make the therapy process effective, for instance well dealing with children, it is advisable to give positive motivation. This will encourage, them in understanding and exercise the skills provided.

Cognitive behavioral therapy can also be use to treat fanatical compulsory disorder. In treating this kind of disorder the therapy will use classical conditioning which is manifested by extinction and training. The cognitive behavioral therapy as also been used in the treatment of the generalized anxiety disorder, health problem, social disorder respectively.

CBT is also used to treat the person suffering from delusions, hallucination, or schizophrenia. CBT is usually applied by the clinical psychologist where the medication and the research is directed in a scientific viewpoint which guideline on the procedure of the problem and emphasize on the measurement and the achievement of the target set.
