In this era of developing a software is getting complex day by day and hard for the programmer or developer to survive so there should be some mechanism to keep things under control and alive . That is called (SCM) software configuration management.
Software configuration management is a set of activities and it's apply when a software is in its development stage and afterwards. Because the process control and identify the changes and implement it properly. There is a small difference between software support and software configuration management. Software support is when we deliver software to the customer and the error occurs when they are trying to operate the system.
