The Vietnam War was the battle fought between the south Vietnam (the United States supported Republic of Vietnam) and North Vietnam (supported by the communist allies). During the war, guerilla warfare against the anti communist forces was conducted by Vietcong, a communist insurgency of the South Vietnam. The more conventional war was fought by North Vietnam. It headed the large sized units into a fierce combat. Air superiority and the blatant firepower were the modus operandi to employ the air force, ground force and artillery in order to conduct the search and destroy operations smoothly. The US budget ran in deficit with $120billion wasted on war. This served as a lesson to all humanity over the tremendous potential of resource draining in the war.
