India Poor Magicians
Once upon a time there was a very poor family that lived in India; they lived were the most poor and low class people lived. This family was very little; they were only the mother and three children. Their father went to a job trip and never came back. They were one girl and two boys, the girl had 17 years old she was named Tina, she was the oldest one, Tim had 16 and Jim the little one. He had only 10 years old. Tina and his little brother had to stay alone in their house everyday from 5:30 in the morning until 10:00, because Keiya, their mother and Tim had to work very hard. When they were in the job Tina cleaned the house, take care of his little brother, and make food for both and prepared dinner at 10:30. This was the same routine every day.
Keiya worked the king's palace, she cleaned, cooked and was a very good servant, and the king saw her as a relative or as a very good and trustful lady. Tim worked with many magicians, his mom advice him to quit and find other work, but he had good money there and he didn't obey her. This magicians were king enemies and they had often a lot of problems. One day they a very bad fight and they had to run away from the city, the carried Tim with them. When his mom knew this she was very worried and she thought that he will never come back again, just like her husband. The next day she asked the king for help, he said that he will do as much as possible to find his son, so she was very thankful with the king, and didn't know how to say thanks to him. But he said to her that she doesn't had to be worried about the problem. The kings send some of his spies to find the magicians stopping-place. As the days passed they hear that they were in a city some days ago, and they followed them from very near but never find them.
Three years passed and people said that the magicians group was divided other said that some of them died and other went running from the king out of India. Even though this news was very sad and disappointed Tim's mom didn't give up. She insisted and pushed the king to continue the search. The king loosed the hope, but he continues the search to please Keiya. One week later Tim appeared on his house, his mom and his brother and sister were very surprised about it, his mom cried because so much happiness. So many questions waited for him these following days.
The next day the king decided to make a welcome party to him, with all his friends and neighbors. He was also very happy and thankful with his family and the king. In appreciation of his favor he offered the king to work in the palace, in that way he will pay king efforts, the king didn't agree but as the guy insisted he accepted. When they arrived house his mom asked him why did he went with the magicians, and where did they where….. He wasn't able to answer that and more questions; he was liked daydreaming and very distracted. He wasn't the same person. His mother thought in a few days his son was going to be as before, but she was no right.
Tim started to work at the palace, while he did his duties thinking about what he learned and saw. He discovered a new world; everything was shiny, bright, clean, and organized. Everyone was well dressed, and walking almost running to their jobs, ha was amazed with the big constructions or building, he tasted new food in some weird places named restaurants, were people were kind and served him, just as king servants, a privilege thwt only the king had in his country.
At first, he was a little bit afraid of what surrounded him, but after a short period of time he got used to that, so he learned a new language, he had a new job, and new friends. He lived in a large and very comfortable apartment with some of the magicians. Every morning he went with some of his partners to their jobs, In his way he saw beautiful and luxury cars, big busses in which people traveled to their different destinies, besides, he knew subways in which trains passed through, he liked to see the mailmen throwing papers in the houses, also the kids going to the school in bicycles. He in particular worked in a hotel five stars, were he met a lot people from different parts of the world with different cultures, languages, and religions. Most of the people that stayed there were very rich and they gave very good tips to him. He also learned how to wash clothes easily, to cook different things and in different ways, like this, when he finished his job he helped his partners.
When he arrived the apartment was like a relies to him, because nothing was better after a hard and though than being attended by a made with tasty and juicy food, in a clean, quiet place, with a nice table and chair. After dinner he liked to drink coffee with cookies in front of the chimney. The living room was very big with a great plasma TV, an enormous stereo, he enjoyed watching news and good movies in the huge sofa, and he often listened to pop music, he also knew air conditioner and calefaction, at ten o clock he went to sleep in his big and cozy bed. He was really enjoying his new life, however something was missing and he forgot it……. What was it?
A normal day something make him feel homesick and then finally he remembered what he was missing, his family. After three years he decided to go back home….. this was why he was daydreaming everyday in the palace, because he remembered all this and wanted his family to know this amazing world, to have an easier life.
With this experience he learned that not only in India people have to work hard to obtain a place to live, plenty of food and a good sleep, nothing is free just than in India at that time they never had opportunities like he had in his amazing trip. Also learned that you can have friends that can help you, but never compared to family's love and care.
