What makes a good writer?

A good writer is someone who recognises that the most important part of academic writing is not what you think, but how your ideas and hypotheses relate to established academic theory and evidence. Most people can write an essay talking about management, business or another subject, but the best writers will understand the theories and studies that have occurred before, and how current issues and problems are related to previous theories. It is not enough to simply write about a topic; instead you must link it to other ideas and theories in order to demonstrate a good understanding of how the topic has developed and how it could develop in the future. The best writers will not only write about a given topic, they will look to go beyond the confines of the topic and make new connections and links. This is the only way to write a first class academic essay: it must make connections that have not already been made, and it must support these connections with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the whole of management.

In order to achieve this, a good writer also needs to be a good researcher. They need to understand that their argument is only as good as the data that they can support it with, and hence they need to be able to find, analyse and synthesise large amounts of high quality literature into their work. At the same time, a good writer will not simply take what they read at face value, but will look to challenge and question it, to understand how it fits in with other work on the subject, and if there are any weaknesses to the work. This is particularly important, as new academic theories often emerge to address the flaws in older theories, and hence if a writer can successfully identify and debate flaws in previous work they will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and academic skills. Indeed, a good writer will often look to form a considered and well reasoned opinion on every academic source that they encounter, and use these opinions to add strength to their own arguments and conclusions.

Finally, a good writer must understand the importance of structure in an academic piece. Without a clear and coherent structure, the most persuasive argument will not be effectively communicated to the reader, and the piece will suffer as a result. A good writer will understand when a piece requires a standard structure, and when a less conventional approach is required. Indeed, the best writers will look to structure their piece to support their argument, so that the different sections do not link seamlessly into each other, but rather they make the reader stop and think about the arguments that the writer is making. This is often the best way to demonstrate a first class understanding of the subject matter, and show the reader the full nature of the writer's grasp of the subject area and management as a whole. However, the best writers will also understand that such connections must be carefully crafted and explained to the reader, as well as being supported with valid academic theory and evidence.

Interview:

Why did you decide to write for UKessays.com/All Answers?

I have worked for six companies and numerous private clients, and have consistently found All Answers to be the best company in the industry. They are the only company to maintain their own website for both writers and clients, so you know that your work will not go missing as a result of an e-mail problem. They also have automated systems for checking that your work has been received on time, and have academic experts who verify its quality before it goes out to you. In addition, their employees are the most professional in the industry, and are always aware of the details of your order and communications. This not only means that you will receive your work on time, and at the correct quality level, but also means that I have to spend less time sorting out e-mail and quality problems, and more time on producing the best quality work that I can.

What University did you attend?

I attended the University of Cambridge. Originally I studied Natural Sciences, specialising in Chemistry, and obtained a BA. However, I didn't see my future in science, and so I took a Masters in Management, graduating with full honours.

What kind of qualifications and experience to you have?

Qualifications:

I have a BA Honours in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, 2:1 grade.

I have an MA Honours in Management from the University of Cambridge, Merit grade.

I have a Managerial Level Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

I have completed professional courses in Business Writing and Creating Effective Presentations during my time at Deloitte.

Experience:

I joined Deloitte Management Consultants as a Strategy and Operations Analyst after graduating university, and was promoted to a Consultant after two years.

I worked with clients across all industries, including banking, media, telecommunications and the public sector.

After three and a half years, and following the birth of my daughter, I decided to look for more flexible work where I could combine my practical experience with my academic qualifications and ability.

How do you feel that your work benefits students?

The most obvious way in which my work benefits students is that it provides them with the level of personal attention that most lecturers and supervisors will never give. Most lecturers will give students minimal guidance about what makes a good essay or dissertation, and leave them to figure it out for themselves. In contrast, I will show students the most relevant theories and valuable references, and how to bring them together in a powerful and coherent academic piece.

I am also happy to explain any of the arguments and discussions I include in a piece to my clients, to ensure that they gain the benefit of my experience as well as my writing. In addition, my experience of writing top class essays, reports, literature reviews, dissertations and dissertation proposals means that I know what structure should be used for each piece, and what needs to be included to achieve the required quality. This saves students time and effort as their work will not need a large number of drafts: the first draft will often be the final draft.

What makes a good custom essay writer?

A good custom essay writer is one that understands the position that their clients are in, and the pressure they face. They also understand that not everyone has the same level of experience or expertise, and so they are willing to listen to their individual needs and concerns. They will always make time for their clients concerns and queries, even when they have heard the same query numerous times before. Finally, they understand that clients are often concerned about ordering an expensive custom essay, and so make sure that they fulfil all the client's requirements to the letter.

However, following the birth of my daughter, I decided to switch career into something that offered more flexibility, whilst still allowing me to use my degree as much as possible. Writing model answers with All Answers turned out to be the ideal career for me. It allows me to spend more time with my family, whilst still using the academic knowledge I gained at Cambridge; the practical knowledge I gained as a management consultant; and the CIMA qualification I obtained as part of my consultant training. Combining these skill sets has enabled me to take my writing to the next level, and write top level essays in almost any management related subject, including marketing, strategy, economics, human resource management, finance and accounting. Over my five years with the company, I have written over 1,000,000 words, and so can offer a wide range of experience to all my clients. I now have experience in writing in all contexts, from emerging nations to developed economies; from multinational corporations to small businesses; and from pure theoretical pieces to practical case studies. I look forward to helping you with your next assignment by producing a model answer to your specifications and quality requirements.
