“What great things did you do this week?”

We asked our customer service team to ‘blow their own trumpet’ and come up with a list of things they did that went above and beyond their job description this week.  These are our favourites.

  • Edward Longhurst - Sales ManagerA customer contacted me to say that the essay they received was excellent but they didn’t have Athens access and couldn’t get a copy of the journals the writer had used, to do their own research.  We contacted the writer to ask for copies (17 in total) and we paid the writer for his time in gathering these.

  • Olivia - Sales TeamI spoke to a new student who had left the referencing style on the order form as ‘default’, i.e. footnotes and bibliography.  She later found that her university required the Harvard style but she didn’t understand how to reference in that style.  We changed all the references for her in-house, and sent her a guidance sheet on Harvard referencing so she could format her own references properly in future.

  • Ken - Sales TeamA customer ordered two identical essays which he told me were for ‘him and his friend’ completing the same course.  I explained to them that we supplied an example answer which they could not hand in - and since they both needed to do their own work, there was no point buying two essays – they could use the same essay as a guide to help them each complete their own work.  He was grateful for saving on the cost of the second essay and promised to send me a copy of both answers to show he had used the work properly.
